Why smuggled tyres are dangerous?
They are deformed like an 8 digit shape to accommodate 4-5 tyres inside 1 tyre to save space and for ease of smuggling.
When deformed, the wireframe inside the tyre loses its integrity and structural breakage of wireframe leads to tyre bust incidents at high speeds
Due to the deformation tyre's center of gravity displaced which leads to wobbling and heat zones at high speeds.
During smuggling tyres may be exposed to weather harshness such as Rain, moisture and sunlight which decreases the shelf life of the tyre
How to identify properly imported tyre?
Proper imported tyres are hard to find
Check the inner ring of the side walls.
Ask them to move the packaging on one side and examine the inner Ring of the side wall
They should be perfectly round and no bend or deformation should be visible.
Their manufacturing date is almost 1 year old (due to import procedure).
If the date is too recent then chances are either the date is tempered stamp or tyre is smuggled.
So do not bother too much about the date. Even buying tyres with 2 year old date of manufacturing is okay as long as they are imported, shipped and stored properly (tyres should always be stored on racks individually . If you see tyres stacked upon one another, then do not enter that shop)
Look at the punched date carefully. The font should be clear and precisely defined.
Manufacturing date font should match with the rest of the marking on the tyre.
Check the allignment of the date it should be very precise and must not be misagglined.
Tyre size guide
Always consult the car's owner manual for tyre size and never listen to sellers stupid logic for tyre size change.
Proper tyre ensures safety, suspension safety, and fuel average so do not listen to their self made myths.
Inflate the tyres to given values which you can find on the sticker on the driver door pillar. Do not listen to their 28-30 universal formula bullshit.

Yes agreed better to buy new local tyres then tempered one , also today’s scenario cost effectiveness does matter GTr at double in 3 years whereas top 2 tiers(brand) 3 times and finally past few years construction work at insane level that leads to puncture frequently I’m satisfied in 2020 civic with GTr…
True, Im also using generals BG Luxo plus. When buying i got my generals for 50k, michelins and others were 120k. I had Dunlops before and my experience was really bad they used to punctures every month. In my opinion general offers a very good tyre and you can get them brand new from their warehouse.

Federal tyres made in Australia, I bought from its sole dealer in mardan for GLI and it's driven 30k,no puncher, deep groves till now and very soundless, I travel from gilgit to rawalpindi once a month and even travel gilgit to skardu and beyond on rough roads. They are amazing.

I think you mentioned the opposite for the camber, top in is negative camber and bottom side in is positive camber.
Farhan sb.. this message for u.. i used general tyres on diff cars from past 15 years.. once i used yokohama i faced same problm it puncutres a lot. I thought imported tyres are soft but more punctured.. but after that i purchased same yokohama tyre from reliable source it cant puntured from past 3 years from till date.. moral of the story imported tyre punctured a lot if it is smugled new tyre punctured like general tyre not more then that.. thanks it my experience

I am in Australia from last 2 years i seen allot for cars which has odometer reverse and when we check it online in service nsw we can see meter readings they told you we can’t gurantee the odometer readings they clearly wrote it.
It depends on personal choice as per my experience all new tyres work well like Pakistani japanese and Chinese in my opinion instead of buying expensive tyres buy new cheaper and change with in 3-years.
Absolutely my corolla came with General Euro Star tyres, I used them to around 50,000km with 0 puncture where i moved to Pirelli and has over 7-8 puncture so far.

185/60/15 was the right profile for this car. These tyres sellers think themselves wiser than the one who did research and decided the size. This will give a bit smooth drive but on motorway if will impact the grip while manoeuvering.
width of both tyres are same and grip comes with traction of tyre. the only difference will be its rev per mile/km overall 3.1% more rev.

@Suneel Munj, I visited Asif traders today and finalized buying 185/65/15 Pirelli P1 Tires same tires you installed for Yaria. But when the tires came from the warehouse all the tires were already D-shaped same as the smuggled tires you mentioned in the video. Sales Man (AD) insisted that these tires are D-shaped because when these are imported they are tied with rope in the container.
At the same time, another customer was there buying tires of the same brand but the size was 195/65/15. I checked those tires and all the tires are in good shape.
He said I have only these 4 tires this makes things more fishy. I asked him to give me tires of the same quality as you are selling to another customer.
I have written my experience here for the help of other people and this is also a complaint to @Suneel Munj. You should ask Asif Traders about this issue.

Suneel bhai there is no such thing as 17 years imprisonment in Australia for Odometer tampering. Max jail time is 2 years but Yes! the fines are significant. Up to $200k in some states for individuals and much more for corporate body. But still it is the biggest scam committed by car sellers, dealers and individuals all over Aus.
Goodyear is what you want. Alignment should be using laser Hawkeye system and balancing needs to be roadforce balancing. Your tires will last a very long time.
