- The Tickles Table Restaurant in Ringgold, VA is owned by Moonshiner Steve Tickle and his wife Carol. It is known for home-style cooking and a friendly atmosphere. We decided to go back and try breakfast at Tickles Table. It did not disappoint. We were able to try some of Tickles homemade sausage and cured bacon. Everything we had was made from scratch and delicious. Come along with us as we try Tickles Table for breakfast.

I think you would too. Everything was delicious. We love made from scratch food. We always enjoy seeing what types of cheesecakes Carol has made. They can add a cup of coffee for you. This is truly what you call a ma and pa restaurant , I remember how much you enjoyed your first trip there, so I was confident you would enjoy your breakfast too. All your meals looked awesome. Having all the meats smoked ads so much flavor. When you eat at home style restaurants, clean plate awards are easy to come by. I know it's breakfast time but that cheesecake was amazing, it looked like a picture out of a magazine. And the size of that piece would have put me in my happy place. We had quite a few requests to try the breakfast. We left our house around 6:30 to get there close to when it opened. I just wish the restaurant was closer to us. You don't find many restaurants that make everything from scratch. The cheesecake is unreal. They also do a Coca-Cola cake and cobblers. Hearing Tickle describe the Coca-Cola cake makes me definitely want to try that. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Have been there for lunch and now after viewing this, can hardly wait to go for breakfast. It’s a rarity to find everything made from scratch in today’s busy lifestyle. Kudos to Tickle and Carol for doing things the way they do. A great place to eat and it’s always a treat talking to Tickle. Great video!

The cheesecakes that Carol fixes are tasty pieces of Art. There is a Coca-Cola cake that the restaurant serves that I would like to try. Most of the people working there had a condiment Christian shirt on. They were so cute.

Now that is some good looking breakfast items that the Tickles have to offer and to hear that everything is made from scratch you know that the food is gonna be delicious! The Biscuits, French toast and especially the bacon is something I'd love to try and I like that they serve cheesecake during breakfast hours as well! The biscuits and gravy had me from hello. I am surprised David is not a fan of sausage. Good sausage can change your mind. The cheesecake looks delicious also.

If you try it out definitely check the Facebook page before you go to make sure Tickle is there. Hopefully you would be able to meet both Tickle and Carol. The food is outstanding! Breakfast is only on Saturday.

Tickle is definitely a people person. He is used to being videoed because of the Moonshiners tv show. You can tell that he is so comfortable in front of the camera.
We would have videoed a little differently if we were planning on just doing a voice over but we made it work! Have to have flexibility. Hope you are having a wonderful week.

The next time we hit the lake, the cheese cake should come along for the ride.

That’s kinda late to open for a breakfast restaurant. I usually eat my breakfast around 6 or 7 unless I’m on vacation.
I have noticed when we go on vacation that lots of breakfast restaurants don't open until 8:00. Which we thought was kind of late too. When we went to the local Golden Corral for breakfast they did not open until 7:30. We don't normally go out for breakfast often.
I saw your video up in Culpeper the other day, that was great if you get a chance you should check out country cooking Depot in Orange they have a chopped steak with onions that I bet David would enjoy and a fantastic salad and vegetable bar and if you go try some of the soup as well
Sounds great! We used to have a couple Country Cookin restaurants in our area but they have been closed awhile. I wonder if this is similar to those. You could go in and get just the salad and vegetable bar or order a meal and you would get the bars with that. Thanks for watching and the suggestion.
