Except for the slightly small display screen and the super-slippery seat, I think my '22 XSR900 is nearly the perfect bike. I've kept my bike stock except for an expensive Nitron N3 rear shock since I do track days.
@@MRSMI13Y90 I nearly bought the cheaper '22 MT09 (the 2024 had not yet been released) but the insurance for the '22 XSR900 was an astonishingly low $278 for full coverage, while the MT09 was around $550. The previous year both bikes were exactly the same. Apparently, the riders who buy the XSR900 are very different from those who buy the MT09, despite both bikes being essentially the same. I did check insurance rates before buying my bike, and then bought the "more expensive one with cheaper insurance".
can't wait to get my motorcycle next month hopefully I meet you riding one of these days
U never know. It’s a small world… what are you getting next month .?

Is that the new mt-09 frame or still the old one
@@MarissaTheMuse Sort of. It's the same frame the MT09 from 2021 uses but with a longer swingarm.
I did like when I test rode it but ultimately mt09 won me over

Most abrupt ending since I made my first son that night
