When you write a report threaten to close down your account if they don’t take the reals off. It worked right away for me.

Oops that did sound ambiguous. I meant to say there's no selection on this. I just reported to FB that I'm not interested in reels or tiktok vids on my feed.
My 'home page" on FB is not like yours, there are no bars at the bottom right to choose anything from. Is that your "Profile page"... I can't find where you are starting from. :(
What I did that seems to work is to use an addblocker and tell the addblocker that the reels are adds. It seems to work.
How do I use an add blocker?

Go account settings select media select never play auto play video this will also stop reel videos play automatically
Are reels just videos or do they include the posts from people or groups that you’ve hidden and blocked but come back under a new group name. Racist or Political or conspiracy stuff that makes seeing the whole page a problem because they keep popping up.
