- Producing automatic transmissions for NA-built models since 1996. Previously (1989-1996), produced automatic transmissions for U.S.-built vehicles. Producing rear differentials and transfer cases for AWD automobiles since 2007, and CVT transmissions since 2012
I spent 3 decades + in this factory (HTM). I know many of these people featured here very well. They're good people, and they do a very, very good job manufacturing automatic transmissions.
Honda Transmission Manufacturing of America is in Russells Point, Ohio about 30 min from the Anna Engine Plant.
This is not Anna Engine plant this is HTM in Russell's Point, Ohio

amazing. no wonder cars are so expensive.
It looks like some things that people are working on can also be done with machines yet it seems like they have purposely let people do it for the sake of providing a job opportunity, regardless it's such a huge operation it's mind boggling how people can make it all come together, that goes for any company.

I’m curious to know why so many of the manufacturing equipment is painted that drab green color. Anyone know or have an idea?
It's not bright or reflective and caught on with most machines like these.

I think made cvt gear is more easy than made the traditional automatic gear . so why cvt is more expensive !!!
