Shawn has always been one the best players to come out of the Post SRV Texas Blues boom. How he never got picked up by better album labels is beyond me. I gather from his lyrics he battled some demons. There isn't a finer player of the form IMHO. I'm darn glad to see him playing again. Got his new record too. Seems like a very nice down to earth fella. He loves the music. Have everything he's ever done. His Edge of the World album is one of the best Blues records I own. I really mean that.
