Plants are living just because we don't hear or see them do anything doesn't mean they aren't living like that lol. Record a house plant and see it moving about, put a recorder that can pick up high frequencies and you can hear them speak in their own way.
The Lively Girl Aisha They’ve grown a good 8 in y’all so far but all the rain has washed in some clay mud from higher ground that has covered the soil >:(
I like that the plant actually helps itself with the wooden structure you put near it. Very cool that all the movements they make aren't wind. It really is them moving around and locating what they need.
Amazing! Wow, the images are so clear and illuminating, both literally and figuratively. From growing peas, I've noticed their stupid little tendrils will grab onto just about anything including their neighbor, themselves, just about everything except the stick right next to them. geez.
Thats awsome and very instructive! Thanks! I found this video because I am growing peas on our field this year for the first time. Helpfull to know, how they are supposed to look like in each development state. Would be great to have more videos of agricultural crops here like wheat, barley, raye, beans, soyabeans, ... Best in glass containers showing also the root. Thanks again!
FASCINATING!!! I would have never guessed that only the top part moves around, while as soon as the rest finds a spot on the trellis, they stop. And it was so beautifully filmed! So pretty. I would actually love to see the rest- when do the flowers come and how do they turn into pods, etc.
I’ve seen people try this before, but they always forget to play music for the pea plant, and they honestly thought it’d grow without that smooth jazz? *amateurs...*
These kind of plants time-lapses are the most amazing, they look like some animal with tentacles trying to grab something until they get it and rest those group of tentacles, and the upper ones still lookin for something to grab on. Nice.
Yes because they have alot of variety thanks to humans cultivating them for thousands of years different pod and seed shapes and colors and flowers and different growth patterns
Under what circumstances did your pea grow so fast? Your 3rd day growth is equivalent to mine for 10 days. Can you tell me how please? I've grown them indoor, compost is moist (not soaked), the house is permanently at 21 Celsius. I don't know what I did wrong. Please help. Kiidos.🥰
they tend to do better in colder weather with high light from my understanding! i just planted some peas a couple of days ago and now all of them have sprouted and look like the day 7 growth at 3 days old, ive been keeping them under red/blue grow lights in a humidity dome at around 70 degrees fahrenheit, although it could also have something to do with me playing classical music for them, theyre basically my children at this point lol
I made the mistake of plantig my climbing peas all together in a round dish and when I went to plant them in teh garden the roots were all stuck together so I chucked them in the ground and punt some bamboo stakes and gutter guard around them and they all climbed up each other like crazy and now their pea pods are pretty much ready to pick
great video, they grow very fast, cool to see also how they "feel" the stick
Thanks! yes its quite cool :)
What are you doing step bro?
@Tuna Rollo yeah to secure them and grow more

Same
I literally thought the exact same thing
Anyone know what that black support thing is tho🤔
DonutFlikz Studios I think it’s something the plant can cling to
It's so awesome how it naturally curls around the post and uses it to grow. Plants are so communicative.
It looks kinda freaky when it moves like crazy
Ikrr-
Yeah it kinda scares me ngl

What kind of pea? I’m sad it stopped before we saw peas grow :(

That moment when you realize every pea plant is a metalhead, headbanging towards its future!
fake this plant is a paid actor.
Yeah like why did it grow?? What a scam.
It's going to grow big and strong, so it can fight zombie
Peashooter
Pvs
It's amazing how the plant instinctively wriggle to find something to latch on.
The reason the plant moves so much is to find something to latch onto and grow. :)
Tbh no clue why but these Timelapse’s are my favourite things to do
Am I weird or is this thing kinda cute? The way it reaches for the next rung on the trellis.... go pea go!! 😂
Fascinating how the tendrils grow, grab onto something, then stop growing.

You must mean the gripping vines. The pea uses those to cling on to surrounding surfaces.

Use grow lights since you are growing indoors. plant growth will accelerate more so when it has a continuous light source.
