- An $11m lawsuit against Te Wānanga o Aotearoa (TWOA) was filed by founder and former head, Rongo Wetere and his daughter Susan Cullen is over now. It's believed the case was based on alleged infringement of intellectual property rights. CEO Jim Mather says TWOA can now focus on its future development now the burden of litigation has been laid to rest. No money has changed hands.
