The PLX Series you mention is obsolete. The amp we used in the test is a current model from our competitor, with rated performance comparable to that of the FRS-2800. 1250W/ch at 2 ohms is the manufacturer's published spec for this model. Speaking of big differences, the price of that model recently topped a grand, so the FRS-2800 will now save you over 400 bucks.

what crap. common guys, not everyone is that stupid. the QSC has a clip limiter switch on the back. i dont think you will find an amp nowadays which doesnt have overload and overheat protection, do you think people will beleive the legendary top of the range qsc amps wont have it? please.
