Beautiful aircraft, color scheme is very nice. The 747 allowed everyone the ability to fly across the globe, by bringing costs way down per seat mile. The 787 allows low cost carriers the ability tooffer passengers the ability to fly across oceans for a low fare, and do it often. Love the Dreamliner

Boeing is a wonderful brand and 787 is BETTER than any Airbus, not because i say so, but the fact the dreamliner was designed from scratch. Dont want to elaborate much at 5am, but this plane is a real NEW airplane, radical new design on almost everything beginning with wings extraflexible (still scares to me each time have to fly one) , material and components, avionics, and a battery & electrical system so so new and different, that few very first planes even catch fire because lack of experience on the new lipo technology. (Now is solved) , This is how far these guys went to make a new, revolutionary airplane. Time will fly until another manufacturer take this kind of risk to make an airplane. New airbuses, even are nice planes, are just remakes of the old ones. 787 has been so influential, that legendary 747 doesnt make sense anymore and is scheduled for phase out already. Even its windows are a challenge !! Fly one and will see.
I agree Boeing aircraft are superior to Airbus. Airbus tend to copy what Boeing do anyway. Look at their A380 to out rival the Bowing 747. It never did and now production being ended in 2021

Dave E the only original idea was the A300 by Boeing and although it did do really well in it’s day Most Boeing models weren’t ment to compete and each were special in it’s own way. IE 787, 737, 777, 757
