Things I noticed: Susie hasn't done the "Batchelor Jump" where the other girls did. Another set of standards I applaud her for. Teddi dodged a bullet. Can you imagine if she was final 3 and had Gabby's date and then finds out she gave up her virginity for his trial period and not love? Not only was this disrespectful to Susie if she was his #1, but to lead the other two on was disrespectful to them too.
I have to correct you. It's the "Toddler jump"!!! I find it utterly "stupid" and "childish"!!! I have to say that I get utterly "EMBARRASSED" for EVERY girl that's done that jump!!! Ughhh, so embarrassing!!! 😝😝🤬
I HATE when people say “DoNt YoU KnOw WhAt ShOw YoUr oN?” When a bachelor or bachelorette sleeps with other people and it breaks their heart. IN WHAT WORLD WOULD THAT NOT BREAK YOUR HEART??? also the fantasy suites are an OPTION. NOT a requirement. They are time without the cameras. Sex is not forced! It’s a great time to get to know someone with the cameras off. And if you’re not a complete idiot you will sleep with one or none in the fantasy suites. Because nobody wants sloppy seconds going into a proposal. YUCK. They usually know who they’re picking at that point anyway. And if they don’t…. Good luck with the engagement… that’s how you wind up with an Arie situation. You want someone who is sure of you before the top 3
I agree. I also hate though the “he or she should just know, I shouldn’t have to tell him/her” it’s just imo a horrible thing in a relationship to do. It’s literally sets them up to fail if they don’t know what your expectations are. But as T swift says “why you gotta be so rude?” Like I get you’re so upset and hurt Clayton and none of us are perfect and we all say things that could hurt people but not the nicest words. @@Paul-te8gi No. He basically called her a slut and told her she had sinned. There’s a huge difference between “I wish you had been committed enough to me not to sleep with the others” and “God/Jesus/anyone of faith thinks you’re a dirty, sinning wh*re now”
Suzie did the right thing. When you're dating with purpose you cannot give away the blueprint, you must leave room for the person to demonstrate their own values so you can make an informed choice. Anyone can meet the requirements you disclose during the chase then revert later to their true nature.

He was ready to quit when she left.
I completely agree. “Fighting for someone” does NOT include putting up with going against your values or accepting someone who doesn’t treat you with respect and kindness.
Peter handled that whole fantasy suite situation extremely poorly but at least he wasn’t cruel, angry or mean at Maddison. The way Clayton talked to Susie 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩
What's the difference between Hannah Brown & Luke P's breakup, & Suzie's? Luke told her he couldn't get passed her having sex with the other men, she said she did & that Jesus still loved her(bringing in faith just like Clay), she got upset & said her husband would never say this or put her in that position, then sent him home. So since Hannah is a woman we praised her for her "Jesus ❣️" line, but criticize Clay for bringing his faith into it, getting mad/defensive @ her. I don't get it?!
@@mandy4898 Can you really, honestly not see the difference? Seriously? Luke was abusive to Hannah. Clayton was abusive to Susie. PLEASE - for your own safety - learn to recognize abusers. It could save your life. (I'm sincerely worried about Susie's physical and mental safety, assuming their relationship is "real" - and I'm 99.999% sure it isn't).
@@mandy4898 Luke P shamed Hannah B for sleeping with Peter, Suzie did not. She just stated her own boundaries, which made Clayton mad. He wasn't shamed, she didn't act like he was a lesser person for sleeping with the other women. Hannah B also didn't tell the men she was in love with them.
Yet Hanna Brown reacted more angrily when Luke P asked her not to sleep with other guys. Anger is fine for a bachelorette when someone tries to control her sexuality, but not for a bachelor.
I didn't think it was possible for me to dislike Clayton more. at first I just thought he was a boring Bachelor, but now the way he acted in that moment was disgusting to watch and I hope he is able to watch that back and grow from it. now i'm sure being put in the position of the Bachelor is hard and confusing, but I feel like he knew what he was doing deep down by the way he even admitted to Suzie that he was "the most" in love with her
Love your Ukrainian flag colors today. Bless y’all-I couldn’t agree more about what to expect next week. And Clayton handled everything like a high school freshman. This guy has to man-up!
I started watching the bachelor franchise Chris soules season. This is the first time I’m actually rooting for the lead to fail. I understand both side of the Suzie/Clayton disagreement but the way he handled himself showed his true colors.
When Clayton said "Me and Rachel have the strongest physical connection" and "it's just easy with her" I thought "oh.......he's not gonna choose her as his wife"
I thought it was weird the next day he said the night was "near perfect" and then they cut to Rachel saying it was a "perfect date". Poor girls. I hope they all have enough dignity and self respect not to be with him.
I honestly hated the way Clayton handled everything, like professing his love and then having sex felt more like leading on than exploring a relationship
@@Paul-te8gi Or not. They don’t seem very aware if they’re swayed by “I’m ‘falling’ for you.” I think all that means is “You make me feel all hot and tingly in my boy parts.” Someone needs to clue them in that that’s ALL it means.

His line of "You don't have the backbone to make this work" echoed in my head as Clayton is upset with Suzie for nor working through this with him. Run Suzie run. Teddy, you dodged a bullet. Gabby and Rachel, "I love you" is the verbal password into your pants. He showed you all who he is. Actions do speak louder than words. Entitled male.
yall in the commen tsection not op, you realize fantasy suites isn't just about sex right???????????????? like most people use it to talk where the cameras aren't rolling and get to know each other, like their not allowed to talk about somethings on tv like politics. It doesn't mean 'sex' tho some people do do that.
Suzie advised Clayton of her standards during hometowns. He absolutely knew she wouldn't have sex with him before a proposal. He also knew the other 2 would give sex after a mere I'm falling for you statement. Clayton knew he would choose Suzie yet listed for the others. He did not behave like a man ready for marriage. No way. This show is not new. Everyone knows the fiance and family will see what occurred. So if they truly want a happy marriage to result they should behave accordingly. In what world would a woman knowingly accept a proposal the same week a man has had sex with 2 women? What man would propose after knowing his intended just had sex with 2 guys??
Exactly, if he knew he would choose Susie, did he ask for the other 2 dates first so he could sleep with them before settling down? 🤢 I wouldn’t be surprised.
Thank you!!! He acted like she told him to sleep with other women outright just because she never explicitly said not to! Like, she isn't your KEEPER you're supposed to act right. Imagine cheating on your wife and using the excuse "well she never said not to cheat specifically " 🤡🤡🤡
@@jessicarae6879 in fairness though she did say to him at some point I want you to explore all the relationships so to him he could have taken it that way. Just trying to see both sides. Don’t agree with how he spoke to her but I do see his side. And also producers choose who goes when, not the bachelor. And they 10000% choose this because they wanted this reaction from Susie
I haven't had an issue with Clayton until last night. If I were his momma and saw how he treated Susie I would slap the snot out of him for all women who have been treated like that. Disgraceful! Hopefully the preview was correct and his dad won't let him make excuses. I've been team Rachel all season. I like Susie a lot also. These 2 ladies or Teddy should be the next Bachelorette. Clayton should go to his room and be forced to watch how he treated these last 3 women (especially Susie) 1000 times. If he wasn't sure who he loved "the most" he should pick 1 and not give her an engagement ring until he is sure.
I agree. I think he and Rachel have similar emotional intelligence and depth although I don't think it's enough for marriage that's why he was intrigued by the other 2
Seriously Peter never called anyone FAKE AF for liking him too much (Sarah), or Condescending aggresive bully for standing up for herself (Elizabeth), or an Actress (Genevieve), or "wanting to be the Bachelorette" for not being okay with him sleeping with all the girls
I agree with Ry 💯 the way he handled that was so bulldozing of her feeling and her values. If this is the way he approaches conflict resolution and hearing other people’s boundaries then she dodged a huge bullet 🤯
@@Paul-te8gi why does w eryone keep bringing up situations with past seasons and behaviors, this has nothing to do with that, it's based fully on his behaviour towards her no one else.
If he felt comfortable to act that way surrounded by producers and cameras I can only imagine how he’d act behind closed doors in an argument. I hated that.
And how much lying, leading on, and sleeping around he'd do...when his parents, the other women, and the world wouldn't know. Not that it matters, but I'm sure it's a one-way street, and he'd flip if she slept with two guys the week they were to get engaged!
You ladies had the same reaction as I, when he blamed Susie. It's difficult to see someone's true character on those interesting dates. Clayton will grow from this. Susie deserves better!
Narcissists don't change. He sure pulled out the narc manipulation tactics when she had a boundary and didn't roll over. His mask slipped big time. Even his own parents are calling him on it!
I didn't even watch this yet 🥴. This season has been hard for me to get into. But I am listening to recaps still. 🤷♀️ Anyways, Shandy picked up on some inconsistencies. Their idea was that they may have been talking about producer manipulation - her asking if the producers made him sleep with them and him being upset with her being in talks about being bachelorette and deciding to do that instead of continue with him. Something like that. Worth checking it out, as a possible clue for why he got so mad.
What a jerk. There's nothing wrong with wanting to be loved by a man who loves her so much that he doesn't want to be with anyone else. He's obviously not that guy.
I've said this from the beginning and I'll keep saying it. Clayton wasn't smart enough to be the bachelor, perfect BiP contender but way too horny to be the bachelor
You ladies are so hilarious! My husband watched the break up part with me and he was soooooo mad at the bachelor. Especially when he was making Susie walk so far behind him after he put the blame on her instead of himself. At least his dad has a brain when he says "you screwed the pooch!" I sure hope Susie does not come back to apologize and ask for another chance. She deserves so much better and now SUSIE is who should be the Bachelorette! She has standards and we will all want to root for her to find true love.
Bravo Susie! A woman with a brain and a backbone! If the girls had each slept with two guys ~ how would Clayton feel about THAT?! Would HE push through? A big fat NO! He is DEFINITELY not marriage material. Not the manly man we Smart Gals all hope for. I agree with Whit, Ry, and Mama Shae. I just got off work and was so ready to watch you guys...Love Momma being there. My man watched your episode with me and laughed his butt off. Thank you!!!! He is interested now!!! Momma Shay needs to come back for the Finale too. I love you guys So much!!!!
My theory is the producers really wanted her for bachelorette and when they felt like clayton would pick her and ruin their plans they sabotaged by putting her last (knowing clayton was gonna act a ho lol) and gave her a great storyline in the making. Straight diabolical.
ok i really felt for susie when she started crying and said that if he wanted to protect her then he would have done that action. hugs and kisses for my babe susie

When Luke P. told Hanna how he felt about her spending the night with other men, he was villanized and widely disliked. At least he told Hanna before fantasy suites, not after. Does Suzy get a pass for trying to control Clayton's sexuality?
It was the complete opposite!!! Hannah's argument with Luke was not about the sex but his abusive, demanding and controlling behavior. Susie was not controlling, allowing Clayton to be himself and show her who he is.(Demanding a person be a certain way is only a temporary fix, eventually their true colors will come out She was not DEMANDING but HOPING he was not a F***boy, and gave him the freedom to show who he is .When it turned out he was , she was disappointed hurt and sad, not abusive . Clayton on the other hand was like Luke , angry , controlling and demanding that Susie react towards the situation the way he wanted to control her to be (my way or the highway babe. And there's the limo). Demanding that she should have told him before hand. Demanding they discuss it, which she was even willing to do, but HE actually wasn't. How many times during the season did Clayton walk away from a situation to 'take a breather' and 'think about it' (and did any of the women throw a hissy fit when he did?) yet it wasn't ok for Susie to do that? That's pretty controlling and narcistic,. Clayton may be a nice guy but he also has parts to him that are 'very much not nice' I think Susie's the one who got 'lucky' that night, she really missed a bullet This was not about the sex but the controlling, abusive, demanding behavior. I really hope you can see the difference. Otherwise I would fear you are like Luke and Clayton . ( Not judging , just hoping you can see it and are not like them)

Clay is one of those guys who isn't very intelligent and thinks himself a good guy but just doesn't have the emotional skills to be either. He felt he had to say he loved them each before sleeping with them as an f'ed up honor thing, but you'll notice the second he realized he wasn't sleeping with Susie, it was past tense and he didn't love her anymore. That's not love and he clearly has no idea what it means. I have zero respect for him. What he did was verbal abuse trying to make her the villain for his actions. It's not ok. None of these women are going to want him, they will all dump him. I'm sure they'll get Susie back (after much discussion about contracts to honor) but she will get up there and let him get down on his knee to propose then she will turn him down cold. And he will deserve it.
if what you say is true , I hope Rachel's Dad is holding the door of the limo right after Susie turns him down! And let's get Gabby's grandpa a Bernie Sanders chair and gloves so he can sit and watch in person
From my perspective, none of the women will be attending the final rose handout, and if Clayton comes to his senses, he will just walk away well before that point... On the other hand, the producers need a final ending, so someone will get the final rose, and with any smarts, will just walk away very happy without accepting it. Looking forward to a better season next time. I'd like Susie for the next Bachelorette, however, with her mindset the producers would never pick her, as there would not be the "drama" the show is built on.
Thank you ladies thank you for saying exactly what needed to be said about him now go listen to Caitlin’s podcast and listen to what he had to say and see if you still feel the same way I still feel the same way but perhaps it’ll give a little bit more light as far as what he was thinking at the moment
Always love when Mama Shay stops by!!!!! FYI, Nick Viall (On Wisconsin!!) said that he did NOT sleep w/anyone other than his final pick for this exact reason...how does your relationship survive AFTER!??! Reality show or not, the concept of sleeping w/1 or 2 OTHER people than the person that will become your fiance in less than a week is messed up!!!!
Also I remember Maddie Prewitt was shamed by Peter’s mom for giving an “ultimatum.” “How dare you give him an ultimatum?!” - Peter’s Mom. My take is that neither Susie OR Clayton should have been talking about the other women's fantasy suite dates--hello, privacy much?? I wouldn't want the other women/world to know what I did or didn't do in the fantasy suite. honestly i can see both sides. the way clayton treated susie was not okay, nor was the fact that susie waited until the day of their date to tell him that him being intimate with another woman would be a dealbreaker for her. she definitely should have said something a lot earlier if she felt that strongly about it, like clayton said. obviously in the real world, outside of the bachelor bubble, you shouldn't have to tell the person you're hoping to get engaged to not to sleep with or fall in love with another person. but when you're in that world and when you sign up to be 1 of 30 women dating the same man, you have to know that other connections will be made. i just think that if she had said something earlier, he wouldn't have slept with rachel and/or gabby, especially since he said he loves susie the most. i do understand his frustration because she honestly did blindside him. he was upset and rightfully so and she straight up said that she didn't think she could continue on, so i don't see an issue with him walking her out at that moment. i love susie but this environment just isn't for her. and that's okay! she definitely does not need to go to paradise or be the next bachelorette. would love to see teddi or serene as the next bachelorette or rachel or gabby if he doesn't end up with one of them

@@Aiffam1 this, exactly
Clayton's true colors came out. Susie totally dodged a bullet. His blaming language and placing himself in the victim role....ugh....what a jerk.
I hate Clayton
Yet Hanna Brown reacted more angrily when Luke P asked her not to sleep with other guys. Anger is fine for a bachelorette when someone tries to control her sexuality, but not for a bachelor.
@@Paul-te8gi big difference. Susie know her boundaries, Hannah brown had poor self esteem.

I vote that they fire whoever is making the decisions about who the bachelor's are! LOVE the colors and your unspoken support. Thanks for a fun recap!

Gabby is my favorite. She is so supportive of all the others in the house and is constantly bringing other up. I hope she is the next bachelorette
I started watching the bachelor franchise Chris soules season. This is the first time I’m actually rooting for the lead to fail. I understand both side of the Suzie/Clayton disagreement but the way he handled himself showed his true colors.
He was unnecessarily brutal to her. It was really hard to watch.
tbh if I'm being honest with myself I am too. Most of the time with the bachelor I'm just neutral, sorry clayton ;-;
When Clayton said "Me and Rachel have the strongest physical connection" and "it's just easy with her"
I thought "oh.......he's not gonna choose her as his wife"
I thought it was weird the next day he said the night was "near perfect" and then they cut to Rachel saying it was a "perfect date". Poor girls. I hope they all have enough dignity and self respect not to be with him.

Art imitating life. I found out my ex had multiple affairs. I walked. He tried to get me back.
*This.*
That's the definition of gaslighting right there! 🚩
If women know about the verbal password, then aren't they responsible for their behavior?
Now watch Suzie be the next Bachelorette - all maneuvered by the producers.
I don't think so...she and Maddie Pruitt in Peter's season stop making good bachelorette TV when the fantasy suites roll around.
If Suzy becomes the bachelorette, then she presumably wouldn't be going to 3 fantasy suites.
yall in the commen tsection not op, you realize fantasy suites isn't just about sex right???????????????? like most people use it to talk where the cameras aren't rolling and get to know each other, like their not allowed to talk about somethings on tv like politics. @@HostileWorkplaceEXPOSED == it is about sex with everyone. == That was Luke P's point with Hannah B.
Blame it all on Ben Higgins!! They should have never started telling people they love them before the final rose.
I wouldn’t be surprised.
Thank you!!! He acted like she told him to sleep with other women outright just because she never explicitly said not to! Like, she isn't your KEEPER you're supposed to act right. Imagine cheating on your wife and using the excuse "well she never said not to cheat specifically " 🤡🤡🤡

The world in every other season of The Bachelor. And yeah, I don’t get it either.
Is Susie a virgin???
Clayton's treatment of Suzy was milder than the way Hanna Brown excoriated Luke P. Yet Luke was seen as the villan, not the victim.
I agree. I think he and Rachel have similar emotional intelligence and depth although I don't think it's enough for marriage that's why he was intrigued by the other 2
I bet Peter is feeling pretty good right about now. He’s no longer the owner of the worst bachelor ever award 😂😬
I think it's a "tie"!!! Peteys biggest problem was he liked being "breast fed" and no woman was gonna take him from his Mommy!!! 🤬
Peter was never in competition for that role. Juan Pablo knocks Peter right out of the park.

🎯 I was thinking the same while watching.

Susie was not controlling, allowing Clayton to be himself and show her who he is.(Demanding a person be a certain way is only a temporary fix, eventually their true colors will come out
She was not DEMANDING but HOPING he was not a F***boy, and gave him the freedom to show who he is .When it turned out he was , she was disappointed hurt and sad, not abusive .
Clayton may be a nice guy but he also has parts to him that are 'very much not nice'
I think Susie's the one who got 'lucky' that night, she really missed a bullet
This was not about the sex but the controlling, abusive, demanding behavior. I really hope you can see the difference. Otherwise I would fear you are like Luke and Clayton . ( Not judging , just hoping you can see it and are not like them)
Luke was demanding, wheras Suzie left the decision up to him which is what you should do if you truly want to know a person's motives and nature
@@keishapuryear8180 It's true Suzy was nicer, though both wanted the lead to refrain from bedding down other contestants. At least Luke gave Hanna fair notice, while Clayton got blindsided.

I love you ladies! I think both were wrong but he definitely couldn't handled it better!

From my perspective, none of the women will be attending the final rose handout, and if Clayton comes to his senses, he will just walk away well before that point...
On the other hand, the producers need a final ending, so someone will get the final rose, and with any smarts, will just walk away very happy without accepting it.

My take is that neither Susie OR Clayton should have been talking about the other women's fantasy suite dates--hello, privacy much?? I wouldn't want the other women/world to know what I did or didn't do in the fantasy suite. It's a private time to explore things and even though we can "guess" what goes on in there (nudge-nudge, wink-wink) both Susie and Clayton were wrong for going there, it was disrespectful imo.

honestly i can see both sides. the way clayton treated susie was not okay, nor was the fact that susie waited until the day of their date to tell him that him being intimate with another woman would be a dealbreaker for her. she definitely should have said something a lot earlier if she felt that strongly about it, like clayton said. obviously in the real world, outside of the bachelor bubble, you shouldn't have to tell the person you're hoping to get engaged to not to sleep with or fall in love with another person. but when you're in that world and when you sign up to be 1 of 30 women dating the same man, you have to know that other connections will be made. i just think that if she had said something earlier, he wouldn't have slept with rachel and/or gabby, especially since he said he loves susie the most. i do understand his frustration because she honestly did blindside him. he was upset and rightfully so and she straight up said that she didn't think she could continue on, so i don't see an issue with him walking her out at that moment. i love susie but this environment just isn't for her. and that's okay! she definitely does not need to go to paradise or be the next bachelorette. would love to see teddi or serene as the next bachelorette or rachel or gabby if he doesn't end up with one of them
Why don't u like Susie for the next Bachelorette? I think she'd be great.
