- Nice game against Magnus. He played very well, with some very questionable plays from us both at different points in the game. Definitely shouldn't have done... that one goofy play, but... that's how it goes sometimes. No great loss there. Fun game overall - enjoyed playing against him. GG.
You're too willing to trade marshals after you already got their spy.
I agree. Should've used the info advantage to bleed him of smaller pieces with the aim of overwhelming him in the endgame.

I'm a Stratego noob, but I don't understand why you are often eager to trade when his piece is known but yours is not, or trade marshals when they don't have a spy and you do. It seems like you are giving away equity without any compensation, but maybe I am missing something?
I don't think I played all that well in this game. I probably would have done better to play the long game and use my info advantage as opposed to rushing in with my big pieces predictably after finding marsh/spy.
