As always, I really appreciate what you are doing. To your question, I think 2 hours is too much for one video, but maybe there is a way to break it up into 2 or more components? On portraits, I wonder if you could talk sometime about the challenges of doing live portraits vs. portraits from photographs. I recently tried to draw and friend and realized that this is requires much more skill, especially if the person moves even a little bit . . .

Live modeling sessions would be fun and I hope to do that in the future. It is very different from working from photos. You have to work quick. Thanks for the ideas and thanks for watching.

I think 1 hour class would be great. And I would like some urban structural painting tutorials

Thoroughly enjoying your tutorials. I'm stil finding watercolour challenging but hopefully with practice things will improve. 😊

You can do it. Keep practicing and break through the frustration stage. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for this update. I think a one hour class would be great. Perhaps even a live session, but I know that cuts into personal time and schedules. We had a model faint on us once when I was in college. I looked down at my work for just a second and heard a "kerplunk!" When I looked up, the poor girl was laying on the floor. It was kinda weird because all the students just sort of stood there like idiots thinking what do we do now. But the instructor jumped in quickly and tended to her. No fancy ride to the hospital though. Thanks for sharing and looking forward to the watercolor this week.

Yep, that sounds like the situation I had. I had to jump up and get a cool damp towel to revive her. That is almost on par with me slicing me finger open while doing a mat cutting demo. I chalked it up to "what not to do when cutting a mat".
Rule #1: don't bleed on the artwork.
Rule #2: don't bleed on the mat.
      Tears of frustration are OK.

I was just showing some of my students up at the university today some old-school marker comps and copyfitting examples from back in the day. Fun. Thanks for watching.

Hello. I just today commented on your tutorial of the bird on the branch, and how much I enjoyed your teaching style. So I’ve looked up your videos and keep bumping into this beautiful barn, landscape, but can’t find your lesson on it. I think it’s sort of like your cover page? Anyway, my question is, do you have a tutorial on this barn? Or do you teach lessons on Patreon or some other platform? Definitely , I would be interested. Thanks for sharing your talent and personality.

No, I painted that before I started my channel. I don’t have a video on it. Sorry. I’m glad you liked it though. Thanks for watching.
