    Hey jeff great video as usual. Matt from URCHFAB has a good video on plasma cutting. Only pointing it out because he's used one for alot longer then you have. learning tricks from an old hand is always good.

    If you move a little faster you get a cleaner cut and the slag will just knock off the back side easily with a small hammer.

    Plasma cutter. One of the only things in the shop that if your hands under what you cutting, you can cut your finger off and you wont even feel it. A guy in a shop always tells that story. he didnt even realize it got lopped off till another worker saw it resting in the bottom of the catch bucket. He had pictures.

    Please don’t use any flammable gas, including oxygen on a regular plasma cutter, or torch. That’s very dangerous. The torch could burn up almost instantly, and the fire could rush back into the torch cable, since there’s no flashback arrester. Equipment that allows those gasses are expensive, and industrial.

    If that plasma cutter uses HF how do you protect a cars electronics. if you add some extra O2 to the air will it cut better? Or just destroy tips? LL&P

    How did you wire the machine? Did you completely replace the coard and plug for 240, or cut the 110 plug off and add a plug for 240. I want a longer reach and want to use 240v. Where did you olace the wires for 240v

      @HighPSItv  3 роки тому

      It came with all the wiring adapters I needed. No cutting required

    Shouldn't you be wearing gloves? I know you are cutting thin metal, but if you cut too fast, won't it spatter up at you?
