    Well…what a shame! 😢
    That more people won’t see this video.
    I found your channel when I searched Quetico or BWCA or something. And you are the most committed canoeist/explorer I believe I’ve seen on UA-cam.
    I just wish more folks would find your stuff.
    It’s brilliant.
    Thanks
    Bob in Canada.

    I second the comment above. A select few are even considering the routes you're taking. I've watched all your stuff. Best part is you never toot your own horn! Phenomenal content brother. Roman is a lucky dude! See ya on the trail ✌️

    Have to say, my favorite channel that shows BWCA content. I love the fact that you are out there exploring the hard to access locations and not just hitting the overly used campsites.

      Thanks a LOT. I know what I do I rare, I just need to find the right company that knows the worth behind me sponsoring thier outdoor product:) Thank you for the support! There will be 2 big trips this year that I will have great videos from. Maybe one year I can do trips over a month exploring.

      @@MichealGrabosch well I hope you can find the sponsorships and such. I love the vids as it provides me a small taste of the escape and nature I need. It’s hard to get up there when living in Texas.

    Great video! I used to bow hunt also but now I just look at stuff. lol 💙 I love BWCA. I can't imagine you live anywhere but Ely 😎

      Thank you very much!! I am leaving in a month to do another grouse & shed hunting trip. Unfortunately, I do live quite far away from ely. If I lived there, I would be posting dozens of trips a year:) I live in the quad cities, Iowa. About 9 hours away:(

    It's difficult to choose a favorite clip...the fishing section was awesome! I also loved the hand-drawn maps! Thanks for sharing. :)

    Love your videos... i tried doing video on my 2 week solo and just couldn't dial it in. Big northrens in a solo canoe is a true clusterfuk lol....

    • @MichealGrabosch
      @MichealGrabosch  10 місяців тому +1

      Thank you very much. Big northerns take a lot of practice, landing them safe solo in a canoe for sure. Top priority is my safety and then theirs. I always wear them down for a good 20 min before trying to handle them. Then you have to be very decisive when you go to grab them. Any hesitation can lead to a hook in your hand. And holding onto them has to get a death grip. You don't want them flopping on you, throwing the hook into ya, or smacking you out of your canoe.

    Great video all around, but if I had to choose a favorite chapter it would have to be fishing. Catching a big pike or walleye like that is what anglers dream about.

    Crazy sick man. Is it worth taking a trip in late may?

    • @MichealGrabosch
      @MichealGrabosch  9 місяців тому +1

      That is a hit or miss as for if it's really cold or not. Fishing doesn't pick up as much as June. A lotttttt less people though.

    What time of the year do you go?

    • @MichealGrabosch
      @MichealGrabosch  10 місяців тому

      I usually do one trip in late may till about the end of June bc the water is high, allowing me to get into hidden lakes easier. Then another in Sept for 3 weeks + bc no bugs, not many people & grouse season. But if my youtube starts making decent money, I'll be going a LOT more

      Wow. Thank you so so much! I do plan on expanding a lot more on my channel. I have two 2 month trips planned this year, so I'm going much more in-depth explaining things. I hope to get some sponsors and make videos on the gear I use. How I plan, pack, and travel. Etc. I just need more support from followers at this point

      @MichealGrabosch Could I follow you or tag a long at all? I'm a retired disabled veteran but I can still do some things and I know how to camp and have a lot of nice gear to make it all easier. This year I'm going to get a square stern canoe so that I can get a motor out on certain places where allowed and then I will have two paddles to paddle in reverse so I will be very fast. I am a very experienced canoeist and outdoors man. This would be so cool. Heck I could even be your film guy or at least help you with all that stuff. I live up at the end of the Gunflint trail behind Seagul outfitters.

    • @MichealGrabosch
      @MichealGrabosch  10 місяців тому +1

      @steveklick I have let people follow me a few days into my trips and then part from them as I go deeper into bwca or quetico. My next, however, the first day I have to push far into the beginning of pma and then 2 more days bushwacking into a lake. So that wouldn't be ideal as I don't like the extra chances of something happening in pma. I only allow people to tag along when on a regular route. Stay in contact and my grouse hunt trip in late Sept, I would be happy to possibly have you tag along for a few days. I'd have to get to know you a little bit first. I guided a guy who lost his mind one time 3 days in and pulled out a knife on me saying he needed to get back to civilization asap... that trip sucked
