There'sa life lesson to be learnt here. Just becasue a thing is poplular does not imply that it is good.
Another lesson to be learnt: everything is relative.
Release/upload date of these clips means they've had a longer time to be viewed than more recent clips.
A more accurate and fitting selection algorithm would be view count / days since upload date. Along with other variables.

The reason that these videos are watched so mich is because this is exclusive content fans cant see on tv: even though it isnt really good its exclusive content noones ever seen.
I can guarantee that these aren't the most watched, these fights were okay at best
These are some of the oldest first-uploaded fights to the channel: basement tapes/qualifying rounds from the ABC network (s1/s2 of the reboot) days.
For a long time, the only official battlebots content you could find on youtube where these so doesn't surprise me they have the highest view counts.

@@clutch44444 I know for sure, the Minotaur vs. Blacksmith fight is on the ABC youtube channel. I guess this is all the most watched on the Battlebots channel.

I don't think they have a social media team or even a social media employee, Battlebots is not a large company.
Maybe during the actual season they hire an intern to upload the videos but I'm 99% sure it's just Trey Roski or Greg Munson uploading these videos lol.

DeathRoll and Tantrum are 2 of the most improved bots. Look at 2016 DeathRoll and now look at 2019 DeathRoll beating Rotator, Yeti, and Minotaur. Then there's Tantrum, a burger flipper from 2018 now it's a giant nut winner
Hopefully Fights from Season 7 will be on this list one day

i never knew floor flippers were used
HELLRAISERS, left over from the comedy central era of battlebots. I think they stopped using them since they just made bots get stuck and verts had a tendency of eating the edges. They are still in the floor of the current battlebox.
There's still another version of them left, little (well, like a couple of inches thick) ball bearings that lift randomly from the floor. Especially undercutters you will see randomly throw sparks, most likely they hit one of them.

Been following BB for quite some time now and i respect these guys putting on knowledge, time and effort to make spectacular bots, BUT, in my non expert opinion i think
YOU DON'T NEED WEAPONS!
Make an unflippable bot, very powerful
that operates the same upside down.
Solid, with hidden wheels so they can not harm you.
And push them around everywhere in the arena.
Eventually their weapons will have no use and
you're gonna win every opponent.
The most watched seriously?
Stinger and Lockjaw are very good. Ghost Raptor is piece of siht.
If these are the most watched videos, You should take a look at Robot Wars instead. Man what a difference.
