Holy crap I actually did this!!! I was starting to wonder if I would ever finish this. lol Well, I did and hopefully you enjoy it? This is my tribute to these two. My bbs are endgame like they deserve! S3 was messy overall I admit and the time travel sl was suuuuper rushed but I admire the show trying to pull it off. I could talk plenty more here, but I won't. Anyway, someday I'll vid them again but in a more typical way. I just had to make this first since it looks like this is all we may be getting of them if they never reboot it eventually like people hope.
I approached this in a way where the beginning is Chase's side, then Gert's, and then it goes into summing up their story. In case you couldn't tell. heh

I agree! I get why they didn't have her say it during the death scene because that was staying true to the actual comic scene. The reason I was cool with us not getting it during their reunion scene was cuz I was so sure we'd get after they saved her and... we didn't. A true bummer even tho we know she loves him too.

This is seriously incredible. What an epic ship you have here. I love the coloring, esp of the flashbacks. Plus, the song is sooo emotional, and the voiceovers, gaaah. Just a rly amazing vid. I'm pretty in love with it. You did such a great job.

I was upset how they ended
Honestly I'm fine with their ending because they got their endgame and in a pretty big way too. I wish we could have seen them as a couple more cuz they lacked softer scenes but I'm still happy they ended the show together. It's the show's cliffhanger that bugs me tbh lol

So they both just die in the end?
Gert does die but a future Chase goes back in time to save her (he knocked out present day Chase to do it) while dying in the process. But since that was a future Chase and Gert didn't die during this time, present day Gertchase end the show alive and together.
