202. 09.29 - God, Help Me Face Those Giants

It’s easy to think of David defeating Goliath, but it turns out we each get a chance at slaying giants in our lives. Standing up for what it right and true, will surely attract some giants, but be not afraid! As long as you are staying in the truth and moving in faith, the offense of the giant is not merely a personal attack, but it becomes an attack against God, which then invokes God’s response which no giant is able to defend against. We also note that David fought Goliath, the way he fought the lion and the bear… that is… he fought just as he trained. Wait, you have not even trained? Well, get with a small group, get into a prayer team, get into an outreach team… get trained up! Fighting giants (spiritual wickedness) is not merely for your own sake, but rather for the sake of the community! Blessings.
