I play in a church and other small(ish) environments with songs that aren't bass heavy so I'm thinking this is probably plenty for my needs but nobody can give me a clear answer. What would you think?
Are there any bass amps with an output jack for headphones? I'm looking into buying my first bass guitar and I know very little about them. I live in a flat so I was thinking wouldn't it be sweet if I could learn on headphones so I don't disturb my parents or neighbours with the noise.
Be aware, this is a really, really good amp. However, don’t plug it into a main PA. The PA will override everything and you’ll run into some overall level issues. I don’t really know how to remedy that but if you do, please post a reply. 🙂
Not saying this is ideal but I have the R40 I practice on & stack it on a R100 when I play a bar. Not really too desperate for PA support in the places I play. If I wanted more volume maybe I could ad another R100. I sorta like the idea of the sperate units in the slim chance one should fail.
