- Norse Atlantic Airways is following in Norwegian Air's footsteps in trying to become a low-cost long-haul carrier. However, this airline also offers super cheap Premium Economy Class fares on some intra-European flights from as little as $65 because they have to move their planes between their hubs. So we took the opportunity to test their premium product for you on a flight from Oslo to London Gatwick. Enjoy the Trip Report.

There is this conspiracy that Norse is just a temporary/project airline for Norwegian Air Shuttle. I flew with them this summer and the whole product feels so unfinished. Same cabin as Norwegian, no safety video, same blankets, same service and basically the same movies as norwegian had on their IFE.
Norse is just a temporary airline to keep on to the old Norwegian routes and airplanes untill they can buy it all back. Wheter it’s true or not i dont know, but I find it a interesting theory.

Oslo is a pretty nice airport indeed. However, there's a lack of lounges.

Looks like a regular Low Cost Carier. The dirt in the cabin, looks like if you are in the S-Bahn...
Ich tue mich schwer mit dem Gedanken, Langstrecke zu fliegen und dann auf Gewisse Dinge zu verzichten. Das abgespeckte IFE (in Economy wahrscheinlich dann überhaupt nichts) ist in meinen Augen schon ein No-Go. Da fliege ich schon lieber in einem A321 transantlantisch, dafür aber mit IFE.
