It’s not in the video but the brakes these replace are already upgraded set of rotors which is why I’m so impressed with a whole car length of distance, they should be even better over the stock discs!
Great upgrade! All Your extra pedal feel was most likely from rear drums being adjusted. Braided lines are great but will barely feel the difference here.
4x4 Camping and Adventures, what are you talking about the originals are too small and just don’t cope. Those discs and pads in the Bendix kit are exactly the same size as the factory ones.
Well I never had the stock discs I put in DBA slotted rotors a while back so this would be a direct comparison to those and they still pulled up better. Same size for sure but there are more factors at play here as they pull up better.
That's a good move you done there as I really think the Triton brakes are not great. I've driven nearly every car and the best brakes are on the Holden HQ to HZ models. Even better than Commodores which I've had to stop quick and they are crap. So in an emergency most brakes are no good so excellent move. A bigger better brake booster should improve the braking, just like the ones on the HQ, HJ, etc.
@@4x4CampingandAdventures Yes, it will be safer now. I don't follow as close with my Triton since having to stop quick in traffic from about 80 kmh. It was scary and thought I was going to crash.
Mainly the longevity of the lines plus the expansion I did do it to my old commodore back in the day it does give a slightly better feel on the brakes to
@@4x4CampingandAdventures I don't fully understand the videos because my English is not good. Thanks for explaining. I have a triton, I enjoy watching what he does.
All this channel is basically is ads about a cheap fit out on a triton. No adventures and very little 4wding. Just remember this guy recommended kings until super cheap offered him free stuff. Credibility is zilch.

Let’s just clarify I brought all my 4WD super centre gear with my own money ended up not recommending it. Supercheap auto gave me gear to test and I Brought a lot of it with my own money at a discounted rate (cost price) most was good some was average but all of it lasted I still use some of the gear on the car currently can’t say the same about kings. 95% of the gear on the car I purchased there is very little I am given for “free” you think us UA-camrs live in a world where we get everything for free handed to us business doesn’t work like that you might get discounts or a better price but it all comes down to money in the end.

WA Camping Adventures kit goes for about $1100 Pete but I got it a bit cheaper through Bendix directly but mate it’s a bit of a kit and I was going to do the upgraded lines separately which were around 300 just by them self!
WA Camping Adventures I think I added it up to be about $900 of seperate equipment so for a hundred bucks or so it’s not to bad really to get it all in one box.
My mechanic ordered this kit for my MQ triton and fit them for me cost about $950 fitted. I couldn’t even buy them online for that price. They definitely stop better, The pedal feel takes a while to get used to.

I’m about to do this and also get the superior engineering chassis strengthening plates welded in
Awesome mate that will strengthen things up a bit
Upgrading brakes is always an improvement. Like you said, avoiding kids, cars, drunk bastards, dogs, cats (nah not, cats). Good clip
Haha not cats love it! Thanks mate appreciate it! And these were upgraded rotors already so they pulled up even better!
i'm thinking of doing a drum to disc conversion on my triton mn. wonder how hard it would be?
I have seen people do it mate it’s not as hard as you think.
Great upgrade!

I recon mate the whole thing was updated so it probably was a combination of stuff but shit they are pretty damn good now!
@@4x4CampingandAdventures for sure i did slotted fronts with ceramic pads. Defiantly a good upgrade the originals are to small and just don't cope

@@trevorspeedy6333 correct they are the same size but slotted and descent pads allows heat and gasses escape greatly improving breaking.

definitively makes it pull up better even if its only a car length a brake booster would fix the spongy feel you get from the brake pedal.

Can you please put the link here what you changed then i can buy them thanks
Bendix website mate you will find them straight away
You need to go buck wild and do a rear disc conversion for our benefit ;)
Slap a challenger conversion on ya recon
You know you want to!
Can you please do a video or give some more info on your waeco fridge in the rear seat please 😁
Oh the little cooler I can mate for sure
Upgrading brakes is definitely worth it these days. A very worthy mod👍
however I'm disappointed and I'm sure u know why😂😂😂🔥👍🤘🇦🇺🍻
Hahaha always disappointing ya mate well they make it in a few new eps coming up

Did you change the iron man kit?
Sure did mate I bent the front struts on the control arm when I went 3 inches video explains it all coming soon

And you can buy the rotors and pads seperate for $500 and save $800
Don’t forget the extended lines
Hi mate you need to check your CV boots they gone.
