I'm a bartend in Quebec, Canada and last night I created a drink that isn't terrible. 1oz butterscotch liqueur 1oz jameson 1/2 lime juice 1/2 simple syrup (could use 1/4 if you dont like sweet) 1 eggwhite. If you could lemme know what you think that would be cool. If not no biggy. I call it grandmas kiss (name could be reworked probably)
Looks good. I might have to juice a pineapple one day and try all these pineapple drinks you've been doing recently. BTW: Any reason that you stick your maraschino in a different bottle?
James Burtton yeah I had it left over from an offsite event (I run a cocktail bar but also do privates from time to time) I usually rebooked because some bottles are clunky to work with
Makes sense for a professional bartender. The bamboo is a little slippery and the little bit inside the neck is probably a pain in the arse when you're doing dozens of cocktails.
James Burtton right. Now that I’m out though when I get a new bottle you’ll see the bottle itself In videos, think I’ll get a .375ml for the videos only I think it’s important for everyone to see each product
Charles Durham calls for light rum so if you do that use Wray and Nephew 126. I think it might be overpowering but maybe not. If you end up trying it let me know
I agree with Robert N. The addition of lemon or lime to provide some tartness would most likely be nice. It just feels like it's missing something.
looks like i found my drink of the weekend. thanks.
Great video, expanding my knowledge on cocktails everyday. Thankyou!!!
That exhale at the beginning. Oh, priceless.
You did a lot of takes before final one?
Long Cat LOL. Obviously I did a bunch of takes on this one
You guys need to add a sound effect or a zoom after he says, there you have it :)
I’ve always struggled with the specs on a Mary Pickford. I’ve added lime/lemon in the past to give it more tartness. What do you think?
Robert N I see the sense In that. I haven’t tried it so I can’t speak to it but I’ll try it today and see :)
interested to try this boozier version... I've done 1.5 oz rum and .75 oz pineapple for this drink... which was okay.
Boozier is bestier in my opinion.

I think some overproof rum would be the move in this drink

.25oz is closer to 7ml
Wait...
1oz = 30 ml
0.25oz = 5ml
But 0.25*4=1
And 5*4 = 20
Someone is cheating here... where the F are my last 10 ml?
