I love the battle of the Egg Salad Sando! No I feel the need to combine an egg salad sandwhich with chicken strips. Lol David’s adorable and such a trooper to go along with all the shopping. My husband hates shopping and couldn’t do it. Lol
Thanks for taking us with you around Tokyo. I love Japan, been there a couple of times for cherry trees blossom 🌸. The clothes were nice, I also found that the second hand market items were expensive - I was looking for photography items in my case - so just came back and saved for new ones. I enjoyed your husband’s feedback on the egg salad and chicken sandwich 🥪 👍. Have a great weekend!
A great vlog!! In my opinion, Japan has high prices but you pay for how well they take care of their bags and the authenticity of the items. I shopped at the luxury stores instead to take advantage of the yen. I specifically purchased Japan only releases. So much fun.
Love the food review. I think we need to explore food review and shopping. Transitioned to that, great combo. We get the foodies and the bagaholics. 😊😂
Great vlog, thank-you! I am planning a trip to Japan next year, so this was super helpful. Clearly 7-11 & Lawson are the go-to spots for food....I love that! And $5,000 for a SS Speedy 30 is way overpriced. I just got the same bag in khaki, with dust bag, lock & two keys in excellent, not pristine condition, from Una for under $2,000.
I would assume prices are higher in touristy areas. Probably have to go to out of the way places. I buy a lot of online from a vendor in Japan and the prices are pretty good. I loved the vintage Chanel jewelry. The conversion is easy for Canada $100,000 yen is about $1000, slightly less.
Unfortunately they didn’t get a whole lot better on the types of pieces I was looking at. But if you were looking for a speedy 30 or neverfull in ok condition there were good deals on those
@@HandbagDiva I live in Japan and there are indeed fakes, but they're rare. I've even bought a fake bag that was advertised as authentic. Although it's illegal, it does happen, but usually it's unintentional. It's impossible to completely prevent fakes.
I love the fact that you both rate identical food items against a benchmark to rank them. My husband and I do this 😂. As an aside, when I lived in Canada I didn’t realise that North Americans call egg with mayo ‘egg salad’. I asked for a cheese salad bagel once, ie some cheese annd some actual salad (lettuce, cucumber etc) and they looked at me like I was insane. I had to ask for ‘cheese and vegetables’ to get what I wanted.
Same here and the UK is a tiny island. My husband and I can’t agree on what to call a bread roll and we are both from the middle of England, him West Midlands where it’s a bap, and me East Midlands where it’s a cob.

Definitely give it a try. It was really good. And he’s the best!

We’d love to go back during cherry blossom time. I hear it’s insanely busy though.

I tried to find Japan exclusive pieces but didn’t see any I liked unfortunately.
Lisa I am absolutely loving these vlogs! Thank you so much for sharing with us 💕
Of course! So glad you’re enjoying them.

Oh you’ll definitely get more good reviews from him in this trip 😂
The RTW was awesome! And such great prices!
Some were still pretty expensive for what they were but there were many pieces that were very well priced.
Thanks for sharing ❤

That’s awesome! The other ones I saw were in the 1700-2000 range. Their prices at that store were super high!

Omg all this Murakami pochettes, what was the prices of those now? I really love that pink sequin baguette but like you I prefer the mini.
Are you heading to Osaka too? The vintage prices tend to be lower than in Tokyo!
Yes we go to Kyoto and Osaka in later vlogs
Is it normal for the stitching to look like that on a clochette at 20:00?
It does look a bit wonky doesn’t it. They are hand stitched but that looks like the artisan might have been drunk 😂
I don’t own any Hermes bags, so I’m not sure but it looks like you may have spotted a fake!
@crimsonmai possible I guess
@@crimsonmaiNever would there be a fake in Japanese store. They’d lose their license and go to prison.

Wig?
Yes
Wait…$5000 USD for the LV SS Graffiti in white ?!??? 😳😳😳😳
Yes! I was shocked

It’s so interesting how foods are called different things depending on where you live. It’s even regionally based in the United States
