I can't believe I was lucky enough to see this set in real life. I didn't think it could get any better after the Friday night show in Chicago, but boy was I wrong. Life changing frankly.
Been jamming PL since late 2000s and this is probably my favorite performance.. I remember reading about how Derek would literally sift through vinyl in thrift shops etc looking for albums that intrigued him. Then he'd take them back to the bus and sample them. He is a sample master. The sample master. Such a masterful homogeny of unique genres. Blew my mind. Did my heart good to watch this!
First time seeing PL since 2015. One of my first ever shows in 2011. This set really did something for my soul. Haven’t felt like that in a looooong time

That sound of silence drop was stank face certified. Man, that's the Pretty Lights I remember moving to back in 2013-14 when I saw him at EDC Vegas. His set changed my life. I'm so stoked that he and the band are still performing.

I wasn't expecting to be blown away by the festival sets after some of the other stops. Boy was I wrong. The caverns weekend is still my favorite but these Hula sets were heeeaaaaterz.

Did he drop Sunday school at all this last tour? I'll never forget catching him at Bella Vida in 2010 closing the 2500 capacity festival out Sunday night. Had never even heard of him up til then and was so blown away
