It’s great to see such legendary Sunbaes share their insight and experiences with younger generations. I think newer kpop fans need to respect the older idols who helped shape the kpop industry today.
Also, her songs are so good and timeless! Pierrot Laughs At Us, Dance In The Rhythm, Tonight, Alone In Front Of The Field... and she's a charismatic and talented woman.

True! She has seen everything that has happened in the music industry. She's a wonderful sunbae who actually suffered under her aunt a lot. She just didn't mention it here, but her aunt used to stand next to the stage and when she made small mistakes, used to scold her in front of everyone, never allowed any other singer to talk to her and gave her no freedom to choose her clothes, her outfits, and regulated her food strictly. She took all of the profit from Kim Wansun's albums and invested it into her husband's failing business. She didn't let the 13 year old Wansun see her parents for three years until she debuted. It's pretty mean towards a teenager, but since then, entertainment companies have been doing this to young people because it worked.

Learning the difference between music making then & now is so fascinating. The lack of equipment and the impromptu & creative things they did to release music makes perfect sense but is also shocking. Kim wan sun is truly a trend setter. What she did was new & maybe hard to understand at the time but definitely something that changed the music industry for the better. Also I loved how comfortable the 3 of them were during this. Seulgi and Kim zakka both listened earnestly, asked great questions, and expressed their experiences as well. As a luvie I’m glad to be seeing Seulgi do so great as an mc, but also thankful for how much she & the rest of the staff have taught me 💛

I heard about Kim Wan Sun when I saw LUP and for some twitters account (explaining me how important she's for korean music) And now seeing this, she's herself explaining her story, her experiences omg it's incredible! Also I love her song! Even when I don't speak Korean and I wasn't even born in that time, but music isn't about one language or time, it's worldwide, you just need to feel it! (ps also I love '70 and '80 music so much, even when I'm '90s generation) Congrats and my best wishes for this! Waiting for the next episode! Ps hope to listen MCs and guest songs recommendations!
