김완선의 앨범은 그 자체로도 큰 의미가 있다고 봅니다. 거기에 천재적인 작곡, 작사가들이 발견 되어서 한국 대중음악의 많은 발전을 이룰 수 있었던 계기를 마련되었다고 생각되네요
다음 영상도 기대하겠습니다.
김완선씨 곡들은 그다지 씨티팝과는 관련성이 없어요. 신중현씨의 사이키델릭과 락 발라드를 댄스음악에 접목하면서부터 시작되었고 구십년대들어 미국적인 뉴잭스윙이 기반이라. 김현철씨라면 연관성이 있겠지만요 시티팝이란 용어가 일본에서도 팔십년대당시 유행하던 음악들을 구십년대말에서 이천년대 초반에 도시적인 쇼와시대음악들을 뭉퉁그려서 쓰기시작한거고 분위기가 비슷한 음악들이 있어도 사실 한국음악과는 접근방식이 다릅니다. 팔십년대 세계적인 음악사조에 한국이나 일본이나 그당시 시티팝이라 불리는곡들도 편승한것이고요 시티팝이라고 최근엔 도시적인 음악들을 뭉퉁그려부르는 현상은 이해는 하나 왜곡은 말아야겠지요
