The worst one by far is when you get dashed with hot oil from the kitchen, it boils at 180°C it's the preferred hit method in cat A/dispersal jails, the skin will peel off automatically down to the bone in some cases

they let them make tea and coffee in their cell in some places and depending on their level...
doesn't seem like a good idea to me either.
fair enough to serve them hot drinks when they like, but not boiling...
hot like a bath fine... but there's no reason to allow them access to boiling water, especially when you cannot even drink a drink at that temperature...
the staff are doing themselves a disservice by putting themselves at risk by allowing that.
Anyone in the prison service who is willfully allowing those kinds of attacks to take place should be really considering what they're doing, as whether the people in prisons are seen as likeable or not, the prison staff all have a duty of care to prevent any harm coming to their prisoners for the time that they are there.....

The kettles dont fully boil the water they just warm it enough for them t make hot drinks or noodles

If it was as hot as a hot bath or shower it would make sense....
What's the sugar for? To be granular and better rip the skin?

It melts. And when you try to wipe it off it sticks to your skin and you wipe layers of skin off. People in the United States prisons use baby oil.

@@sufferedlearnedchanged alot of prisons in the U.S. will not allow baby oil for this reason , I've never heard of sugar water though 🤔 .

Many of them get a hold of kettles for tea and cup noodles and shit like that. It's normally harmless reasons but as we know, humans tend to figure out the most horrific ways to hurt each other...
Federal Bureau Of Prisons in the US, they use Vaseline and water. The USPs (United States Penitentiary,level IV-V) and FCIs (Federal Correctional Institutes, Level III and IIs).

It does and makes it stick so when people try to wipe it off it sticks to the flesh and the boiling loosened it so it's easier for someone to essentially rip their face off

Yeah it does melt, but the purpose of it , is it makes the water stick to your skin!
I got inciting a riot while doing time for giving someone chilli powder out noodles packet & he run up behind & wiped it into snitch eyes. 2 jumped on him so I ran in pulled him up& got 4 on me 😂 the Co's was so pissed they didn't let me wash off their pepper spray for 2 days+ put me in cell with no flowing water. I'd rather kept fighting& took my lumps r fight them off? They told me stick my head in toilet& laughed. Felt like nice sunburn after it sank into my skin💩🔥😡🔥
