Postmates is great if you deliver in the richer neighborhoods and they’ll sometimes tip days or weeks after the delivery. I drive 15 minutes to the richest neighborhoods in my area and really only accepting orders from higher dollar stores. Lots of people still tip 15-20 percent on $100 orders. Lots of big family orders on weekends.
That’s awesomeee! Where are you delivering? Here it feels like the richer neighborhoods are so far from the food places bc they’re in the mountains 😂
@@meganrizzz I deliver in Leawood, Kansas. Its apart of the Kansas City metro, but it’s on the Kansas side. It’s not a very big city, but it’s got money. Median household income is $149,000 a year and the average house cost $540,000. Lots current and retired Kansas City professional athletes live in Leawood. Luckily it’s pretty residential, like the same kinda house copy and pasted throughout the entire neighborhood.

Awesome duo! Having someone go along I'm sure helped! I have never used Postmates and now I don't think I ever will.. To many unknowns imo. I thought doordash was kinda bad hiding total payouts until completed. But not seeing any amount, how many items, bad tips and how far is just to many unknowns to me! I'll keep dashing as long as the orders keep coming in! That kid in the sunglasses (he should of been whistling to make it less obvious!) and the last lady had me in stitches!

I use to do Postmates years ago when it really was just them and the min base pay was $4.50 can’t believe they went lower. But the mystery tip was annoying.
Doordash lowered their base pay too! It was $3 now it’s $2.50 🥲 & im glad there’s no mystery tips anymore! I’m sure a ton of drivers were declining orders just for that reason 😂

Gosh I thought it was just me, good to know I wasn't the only one getting crappy long distance low payout orders too. Must be a whole platform thing. I think the number of orders and the distance and payout may not be as good right now b/c so many new dashers joined in the last few months.

You might want to consider getting a spy camera pen. I just got one for $20 on Amazon and it shoots in 1080p. I'd look like a total dork walking around holding a regular camera or phone filming everything.

I know with my tips, I usually always make it where my final pay is an even number. So, if it’s 5.20, I would pay 4.80 tip so it’s a total 10. Always like to make it an even dollar amount.

$27.72 better be for 1 hour of driving. All you drivers don't take low offers or that's all you'll get. I except any offer $2.00 a mile not more the 4 miles and sometimes if it's slow I drop down and take orders at $1.50 a mile still within 4 miles. If I do Alcohol it had to be $20 and up because lately I've been getting teens trying to score some white claws through mom's Uber or DD and then I got to return them to the stores and only getting the base pay both ways.
Damnnn that's exactly why I don't pick up the alcohol orders lol I'm like I don't wanna deal w/ that😂
Honestly do Uber eats I believe the good thing about that is you don't need a prepaid card or I think they don't tell you to use the card for the order

Postmates used to be good paying back when scheduling existed long time ago. Could make about $25/hr. Also, I like the Walmart orders because I normally make about $15-$20 for less than 30 mins.

yeah, Postmate used to be good in my area. They got like I challenger where I finish 6-9 of delivery in a time range and get guarantee payout (exclude tipss) usually 45$ to 60$, I always get small order and, make 60$ in 2-3 hour.

I'm surprised the postmates app is still a thing. They were bought out by Uber and Uber is supposed to be migrating all customers and drivers to the Uber Eats app. Was this video shot a while ago? Did you ever see my videos about how much I hate Postmates? Check them out, they're pretty funny :)
Postmate is bad but merge with Uber eat. I think you like Uber eat I heard restaurant make Uber eat order fast. Uber eat show layout and tip you see full amount and miles. Keep it up

I’ve tried postmates one time and I did not like it at all. Terrible pay outs and no tips. My go to is Uber eats here in plano tx. I make about 400 a week just part time. It’s my side hustle
