For sure we wanna have some 4b/folds, this might well be a very reasonable candidate, I think I'd rather have an ace though, so like ATo/AJo/A6s-A9s type hands
I played at Hustler in July and Mandalay Bay in July. Was on holiday with the wife so wasn't deep. Played $1/$3 at both. Played in Vegas first, finish $650 up, but by the time I finished in LA, I was $350 down. Had a great time playing, was not bothered at all about the money, basically it cost $350 to play for around 16 hours in total, it cost me about that for an Express pass at Universal so a great experience. Playing in Milton Keynes tomorrow, for the 2nd time in a week, was super loose at the end (last week) and lost £750, was pretty sure I was ahead with 2 pair and was blinded to the nuts flush as I was so sure. Rookie mistake & gutted. I did land the weekly top hand bonus with quad A's and have £500 to pick up tomorrow, so will go a little deeper than usual. Loving the content Gary.
WP. I played on a live stream once and found myself being too weak tight under the glare of the lights and cameras. I now have a lot of respect for people that can play close to their normal game on stream. Nice recovery from the early KK hand as well. When I join a new table and I'm feeling nervous, part of me just wants to fold trash for the first 15 hands while I settle down with a couple of beers . Being dealt KK so early and getting action never feels as good as it should.
Do they put make up on or is the lighting just wildly different between the stream and your home setup? Got some wild tan going on brother. Love it. Great vlog as always!
Well played.Give your self a pat on the back. With the 3 bullets you had and getting felted at the start ,and playing first time on the stream .I think you played well. I would be very surprised if you was not on the stream again. I am looking forward to you playing on the stream again.Good luck. Yes your vlogs are good too,Very good, keep the content coming .
re kjo from early when you folded vs 3bet and 2 coldcalls - did you consider a 4bet here? In my experience, 4bet squeezing those spots with multiple coldcallers in live poker tends to be extremely profitable and kjo has some pretty nutted blockers to do that (kqo I think is fine as just call). Something like 4,5-5k should generate a ton of folds here, especially if you're on the 2nd bullet and perceived as shot taking :P edit: that ofc depends on how many people were still standing, when it's just 1-3 left then yeah, no point in ever 4bet bluffing
I think it's very reasonable, but I decided I'd rather have an ace in my hand as when they call my 4b they have a lot of Ax, so better removal. ATo/AJo/A6s-A8s/A2s/A3s I thinkkkk make for better 4bets here, but KJo is maybe fine too. For sure agree that KQo we can call!
Airball and Mike X were teasing you about being a sniper all session.. they won't be inviting you back to that game. Also, you had KK four times, how card dead can you be lol
Nice to see an online crusher play high stakes live . Don’t get it twisted though They should be coming to you for handshakes as the vast majority of the table would be losing at even 1/2 online
Tired of this take. Why would they give action to 1/2 online? It’s a bunch of scared money nits who studied some theory drooling and fighting over scraps of change to make rent money. You make a few thousand dollars and you think you’re better than modern day barons who gamble high stakes with each other. In reality 1/2 online players are the most pathetic bc they shouldnt even be gambling given their economic predicament. No one cares if you run up your 10k bankroll into 100k and somehow think you’re a great player or person. It’s not a testament to skill you’re just a degenerate who needs poker to pay bills.
Lol can we rein it in with this rhetoric already? 200nl online is not some Uber end boss game and most 200nl regs would be losing (mostly due to poor adjustments to stack depth, ranges, live nonsense) in the average hustler game.
Are you suppose to call a cbet with second pair on AKX two tone with two uncapped players behind? Not trying to “roast” you, I consider you a mentor in the game and genuinely am confused because I’d think it’s a standard fold
Missed the stream, unfortunately, but I think you did well to minimize the loss especially considering you lit 7k on fire with the overbet. I think they’ll give you another chance.
Ya I agree, maybe just the size of the game making me smile and snap fold there, but if I were used to those stakes I'd be more inclined to think about it!
Love your content. Shame about the run bad. Though I count the Kk vs AA and then your hand against Airball as a “wash”. Overall well played, although as a viewer - you did come across as a bit nitty.
Don't sweat the bluff brother. You just ran into the top of his range. he folds to most other river cards and you're up $6K. You played solid all night.
@@garyblackwoodpoker I must be the only one who agrees with you lol. Brown Balla is solid. He also studied a lot of HUNL during Airball’s match with Berkey, so his understanding of theory is probably 2nd only to you at this table.
Anyone's energy would be miserable when you get coolered especially in the beginning of a session. Look at Airball when he runs into coolers and he gets all quiet and pouty
I thought my energy was okay! You gotta remember I barely know any of these guys and I'm new to this type of environment, I also have Dave to my left, Andy to my right and Henry to his right, all three super nice guys but not that chatty overall. I did my best to engage with everyone and I didn't tilt or moan when things weren't going my way. I agree I may not get invited back but for different reasons. If they stuck me on the Thursday game one time I'd be the Nik Airball of Thirsty Thursday haha
Don't worry about any of these guys in the comments. Keyboard warriors in here try to act like they know what they're talking about but I bet they've never played this high of stakes. I've played these stakes and let me say one thing... no one cares what your energy. The only thing that matters is your bankroll and skill level. Keep your head up and keep studying the game. Good luck brother.

It was fun watching you play! As much as I like to watch people splash I find it fun to watch the pros navigate against Airball and Dentist Dave!
Love the honesty at the end there. It's easy to try and polish mistakes. A skill I am still perfecting. Great video!
They really threw you into the wolves for you first livestream with that lineup lol nice comeback. I say your top 3 in that lineup for shure
Thank you thank you! I think with time to adjust over a few sessions I'd do just fine in these lineups
5:00 what hands are 4bet squeezing? Are we ever 4b/folding because standup game and wide ranges?
For sure we wanna have some 4b/folds, this might well be a very reasonable candidate, I think I'd rather have an ace though, so like ATo/AJo/A6s-A9s type hands
Glad you got a chance to get in there and hope you get another try.
Thoroughly enjoyed this video and insight. Fair play playing these stakes, takes some balls for sure.
Good luck !
Very cool to see you in the big game!

Nice to get the bonus to help out a little!
Even when Mariano runs bad he runs good 😂
Was rooting for you Gary. Huge game. Such a bad start with your KK vs AA but you battled back well. Well done.
Great vid - you got a new fan 👍
Very good video. Like your stuff. Is Airball wearing a mouldy sweatshirt?
Haha it’s probably very expensive…
You should show the complete hands of other players whose flips you are showing

Thank you very much, the beer for sure helped settle me down
What’s a stand up game?
Only massive nits play the 97dd like you did. Good content overall keep it up!
Thanks man remember to smash that subscribe button!

Great vlog as always!
Haha I think it's the window right next to where I recorded! I have got myself a nice lil tan so far this trip...
For a first stream you played great!
100% should have bet the turn on that flush
What did the villain had on the UA-cam give away hand?
I can’t say yet but will reveal in the next VLOG (or maaaaaaybe the vlog after depending how quickly I can edit the next one). Fun hand for sure
sucks starting with the cooler...nice comeback gazzy

Mate...Mate, you performed bloody well 🎉. Honestly these dude's have 100s of thousands of dollars and you weren't disgraced. Damn brilliant job 👏
Thank you!

Tough luck. Tell Doug to give you more money next time!
raise that 1/10th bet!
nice video.
i was thinking the same thing while watching the vid, not sure if i was thinkin that bc i could see the opps cards though

Great vid…thanks gazzy….gl
Ugly getting stacked right at the start but a very enjoyable watch. Pleeeeease stack Airball next time 😂
I will try!!
Now I know to do the 10% pot vs this guy after it checks to the river for a free pot
If you have to bet 10% that means it’s not free xoxo
modelo beer good taste
I don't no how deep your roll is but you played really good if money isn't a worry you can play so much different in that game

Honestly kinda surprised you didn’t tank longer with AQ vs airballs shove. Super fishy from airball
Only problem is he prolly shoves 7x of clubs too
I thought same thing after seeing the cards
Ya I agree, maybe just the size of the game making me smile and snap fold there, but if I were used to those stakes I'd be more inclined to think about it!
Gazzy talking so much about how he won't get invited back if he folds xyz precisely so he can come back next time and play 12 vpip nut-peddling
12 vpip is way too loose imo 8 or 9 is better

You think brown Balla was the best player on the table? 😭
I think so yeah but that's based off of one sesh
LFG gazzy
He lost weight
lost then gained then lost then gained then lost again haha
@@garyblackwoodpoker keep it up :) Totally forgot the channel, but putt ring bell on now. Loved the streams in covid :) take care
Brown balla over Andy stacks as best at the table or even Mariano, really? Am I missing something?
A lot of people in the comments seem to agree with you, all I have is this session to go by. They're all pretty damn good tbh!
@@garyblackwoodpoker very fair assessment, none the less keep up the great work and content mate. Cheers 🥂
*deduced not deduct
How you can say Brown baller is the best player at the table? 😂 Andy is the best player and Mariano and Hendry. This is top 3
Respectfully disagree my man :)
☄️
Brown balla the best player??? Wild statement with Mariano, Andy and even Henry is this line up
I got a sample size of one stream, but from what I say he played the best imo
