Most tractors hydraulic sytems have ports to put a pressure gage.ask around and see if you can isolate the problem.maybe a screen near plugged or more like a relief valve.the no air filter was shocking.cross your fingers. all i know about mms is i raked hay 50years ago with an m5lp.ran great.it ran a batch dryer each fall for corn.didn't use any oil.change oil bath some times every week and engine 1time each year.keep em coming Dan.good stuff.i like detail long or short.the boys are fine helpers gettin dirty like dear ole dad.Thank You Sir.

The pressure problem could be remedied by turning the screw in a little on the back side of the pump on the bottom side. That is the pressure adjustment.

Thanks Jeff, I will definitely try that. That would be much cheaper than a rebuild or replacement
