This young man is fantastic. I could listen to Charlotte and he all night or just him. God gave you a wonderful voice. I am also glad that you are open about the bullying you endured and about your depression. Not only will you bring joy to all with your wonderful voice. You’ve taught many that you can still be something great. As a person who has had clinical depression for over 30 years I see you as an inspiration to all that depression that having depression does not have to define you. Wonderful young man and I wish you the very best.

What I find fascinating is this: think of the Duke's character in Rigoletto - a jaded, cynical rake, singing about the supposed fickleness and moodiness of women. They are 'all over the place"..and this is almost always sung by an older voice. But Jon-toine already uses his sense of mischief and slyness to put it over. And he nails it, even as young as he is. What a delight to watch this gifted singer. I for one cannot WAIT to see him step onto the stage of the Metropolitan Opera in NYC - when that day comes he will deserve every accolade he will undoubtedly earn. A brilliant talent...

There is no evidence of strain in his high notes which leads me to think he is singing way under his register's potential. Needless to say, a guarded instrument is a beautiful instrument. Bravo Johnathan, you are truly in a league of your own.
Perhaps he just has very good technique! don't think any tenor worth his salt shows strain on top notes surely!
There is a video of him doing a warm-up with his hands in his pockets.... Still has the power. His teacher must be phenomenal. I wish we had those "live or memorex" challenges again
