Literally same I have an iPhone 12 pro and I just upgraded to the razr 2023 not the plus version. But after seeing this I'm just going to swap it out for the plus and pay that restocking fee.
I’ve tried doing this multiple times, especially with each Razr release, but the lack of iMessage and overall Android experience is hard to adjust to from iOS.
Yes! I debated between the Razr+ and the Z-Flip 5 last year and ended up with the Z-Flip 5 because it just seemed more mature. With these changes, I'm going to have to switch sides and go Moto! I prefer the form factor of the Razr+ anyway. Thanks!
Ive had the 2023 model for one year now, and can tell you this is the best phone i have had ...ever... Motorola has brought back excitement to the cell phone. They need to spend more money on advertising so more people know about it. ...i am excited to get the new one in a few weeks...
Motorola knocked this one out of the park. I'm definitely getting it. Samsung better get in gear. Two years in a row on these flips that Motorola has beat them.
Do anybody want to accept Jesus Christ as your savior he want to give you Love and peace and happiness and joy and salvation and eternal life if you confess your sins
I got used to using Google stock android on the pixel. Samsung one UI I don't like. I'm having a hard time getting used to it. Probably going to switch to the razr
If it wasn't for their slow mentality towards OS updates and security updates, this phone otherwise pretty nice and competitive. Its the lack of communication towards when they release OS updates that bothers me as i have had the razr 2023 until the launch of the zfold 5. According to a friend who still has his, he's still on Android 13 as of this comment date.
@@UnboxerofWorlds Honestly I think upgrading to the 2024 would be a much better choice. It has a better processor, larger external screen, more memory, larger battery with faster charging speed , especially compared to the standard 2023 Razr with the smaller external screen. If you want to just test the waters of owning a foldable phone without breaking the bank, then the 2023 Razr is a good place to start. I got my Razr in the Vanilla Cream color. I wanted to go with a more toned down cleaner look, without it being too flashy. Lol
I do own a flip 5 and compared to the previous Motorola RAZR ultra Samsung's hinge last longer when it comes to how many flips the hinge could manage before the phone breaks. This one however im not sure how many flips you could get out of this one. One big issue that I have with Samsung's flip is that the cover screen isn't large enough to wrap around the cameras like the RAZR. If the next edition of Samsung's flip doesn't have a larger screen wrapped around the cameras im gonna give up on Samsung flips all together and might switch over to the next generation RAZR next year if the hinge surpasses Samsung's hinge tech.
Seriously considering getting this phone. But definitely going to wait till it goes on sale because Motorola does that like a month or so after they drop new phones.
@@terrym540 the charger and the case. The US version only comes with the phone and a cable. As for the reason, because they can because it's not legally required to do so like the rest of the world to do so
I have the 2023 razr nd love it but i wanna upgrade ifk if i wanna stick with the razr or get the razr+ yet imma take a look at them in person nd decide does anyone know if the screen on the front has a screen protector
Owning the 2020,2022 and ultra 40 razr i will skip this 50 ultra due to lacklustre os updates,on the Motorola community forums not one agent can give us any idea when the 40ultra will be getting our android 14 updates,as for security updates i have been getting the bimonthly security updates,im in Australia,as the agents have stated on the forum security updates are done per phone, not the whole region, in America others have the latedt security patches others are still on May 2023,this is the same for all regions, as for me this will be my last razr untill Motorola/Lenova release updates in a timely manner...I hope this helps a few ppl decide.
Looking at the video , kind of looks like a pixel feel flip phone . I love the stock android on the Google pixel. I recently got the new z flip and I don't like Samsung UI or the apps . I downloaded all Google apps. Like the phone app, contacts, calendar . Etc . But Samsung makes you use their own apps . Maybe I will buy the Motorola on black Friday
I feel all the reviews tend to miss the most significant thing, which is after-sales support. Only 3 years of software support on the device and vulnerability patching that only happens about every 90 days. If Samsung can do monthly patching and prompt updates and longevity, so should Motorola.
Nice phone but I'm too scared to get this phone..read too many comments about how the hinge breaks very fast then you're charged to get it fixed after already buying the phone, ridiculous. I really want this phone but ill probably just go with the Samsung galaxy s24 fe.
Love the multitasking on the outer screen, tent mode, separate AOD settings, lock screen and home screen on the outer screen, and all the other functions they put. Even with goodlock, flip 5 cover screen is oddly limited. It's just like a supercharged smartwatch.
I am going to downgrade from the S24U as I find it to big and looking at the Razr plus and the Flip 6 I like the look of the Razr just not sure how will stack up against the Flip 6 and being a Samsung user wondering would I be disappointed moving away from Samsung? any thoughts?
I'd stay with Samsung. You're already used to the operating system and everything and they send updates regularly. Moto is famous for not sending updates. People are steadily complaining about it. I want the razr so bad but the android updates stop me every time
does not make sense to have 2x telephoto instead of ultrawide, main sensor is already 50mp so decent image can be gained by digital crop already, 3X OR 5X would make sense but not 2x.
I dont think so, base iphones have ultrawide for 5 years now, so do most of the other phones who have 2 cameras, not to mention we have tons of softwares in built and on app store which can do decent post portraits
@@mayankkshirsagar4098 Most main sensors are already wide running between 24mm and 28mm anything under that as you put it will capture more of the scene but will be much more distorted (fish eye effect) while a tele photo with 35mm or higher focal length will capture human subjects with less distortion (more pleasing to the eye). Cropping a 24mm image is still a 24mm image.
Upgrading from a Samsung z flip 5.... This year told me to jump over to moto.. They are more innovative.. Samsung resting on their brand recognition and not upgrading phone effectively. The putter screen is a 🐓 tease.
Until folding display devices use regular glass its a nonstarter because they are functionally inferior. When your fingernail can cause damage to your display, who is buying that? The only thing missing is the microSD card slot that was on my RAZR V9m.
Looks so much better than Samsung's Flip 5 but I just can't stop loving Samsung One UI.
I'm torn between the two. Samsung for UI and Razr for design
It's overrated in my opinion. A lot of bloat.
