Great vid. Ill be doing this soon. this have me the info I need to get that bumper off. While you where under there was the wiring harness easy to access? I was surprised they did not supply one for you
Thanks for the video. The part numbers for the factory panel you showed is not correct. When I get mine delivered (there are two part numbers) and installed I'll post the correct part numbers.
From your experience are the rear bumper lower covers the same? I have a 2018 and cant seem to find a lower trim cover that has the hitch cover. The part number you provided said its only for a 2016-2017. Do you happen to know if they are interchangeable with the 2018?
Do you have the part number for the combo 4-pin, and seven pin trailer light cable? Thanks for the content. ✌️. P.S. Sorry forgot to say I have a 2017 Police Interceptor Utility aka Ford Explorer Police Package, 3.7L V6, need part number for the wiring harness to connect trailer lights. Thanks again appreciate you 🤙. ✌️. 😎.

That's true but I also don't make these videos for people to try to break down what I'm doing I make these videos to teach people how to make things work in certain circumstances
wow, huge install difference between a ford factory hitch vs an aftermarket like drawtite or curt
I have to remove the bumper cover on my 17 explorer to repair a cut. This video takes the mystery out of where all the hidden fasteners are.
Mass producing content brother

A Curt hitch mounts up in about 45 mins but hangs below the bumper cover. Can only imagine what this costs from Ford with the new rear panel.

Maybe it's not the correct panel for yours
Thanks allot for the help

CooL, many thanks 🙏.
Where are you located? I wanted to this but cant find anyone here in Richmond, VA area to do this. Thanks.
I'm in Illinois
Nice.
What size bolts did you use for top middle section?
I forget now
What about button tow in dashboard? I want to know which one wire to?
I can't answer that
If your vehicle didn't have the tow package at it from the factory you don't have a button that you're going to be able to utilize
Is it possible to install a 4 pin connector for trailer lights?
