tbf kakashi was also saved by naruto and sasuke in the land of waves arc. the problem i have is how the two were saved konohamaru was saved by boruto mc power while kakashi was saved through naruto and sasuke wits.

Konohamaru has a lot of chakra, he learned the kage bunshin, he learned the rasengan and he has the ability to finish the jutsu with the rasen shuriken. And yet they made him become Iruka-sensei.
Making Onoki and Ao villains in boruto was a huge mistake. It was bad enough ninjutsu was made useless, but these guys were hero’s in the ninja war. It’s a good thing they took a break. Hopefully they learn from their mistakes.

Sometimes he shows something, but when put to actually fight someone in the main plot he just gets humiliated like a nobody, it's kinda pattern for any Naruto character in Boruto.
