Tutorial fountain pen : creation of a Cap Liner to Prevent Nib Drying

Following the review of the (magnificent) Hybrid artisanal fountain pen made by Mr Roncari, I had reported a problem of nib drying after a few hours of having the pen aside.
Indeed, by looking inside the cap, it was visible that the nib was not properly protected in the cap to avoid this problem.
I will explain in detail, step by step, how I solved the problem by creating a liner despite the little space left between the nib and the cap.

Bonjour, pour vous informer que après quelques discussion avec Mr Roncari, il a modifié sa méthode pour protéger la plume: maintenant il remplit le capuchon de résine époxy de la même couleur que la résine du stylo, puis il perce la cavité dans le capuchon et l'époxy, donc au final un liner tapisse tout l'intérieur du capuchon. C'est une technique que j'ai déjà vue sur plusieurs stylos et qui fonctionne parfaitement.

Hello, just to inform you after some discussion with Mr Roncari that he has since modified his method to protect the nib : now he fills the cap using epoxy resin of the same colour than the pen resin, and after he drills out the cap cavity, which results to a liner throughout the entire cap inside. This is a technique I've already seen, and which works perfectly.

I'm impressed with your ingenuity in solving this problem. I would have probably requested to return the pen, which would be unfortunate since it is such a gorgeous pen. I hope the pen maker will adapt this technique for his future pen creations. Also, I'll know to inquire about this feature of a pen, if I eventually buy a hybrid pen for myself. Thank you.
