Es ist wahrlich ein Meisterwerk. Er lässt tief in seine Seele blicken. Viele werden sich selbst dort wiederfinden. Der Affe ist der Hammer sowie der gesamte Film. 10 von 10 Sterne. Ganz klar ❣️❣️❣️
If there was like, three or four other chimps visible in the background, or if he met other artists who were alligators or macaws or something like that then it would all come across a lot less pompous.
Well it’s not meant to be a “he’s an animal for animals stake” it’s a metaphor for what he thinks everyone sees him as. People see him as a “dancing monkey” meaning basically an idiot. So it wouldn’t make much sense for this story.
What went behind the creative choice to portray himself like a chimp?... He honestly sees himself like a chimp? It really doesn't make me want to watch this.
Michael Gracey explains why they chose a CGI monkey to play Robbie Williams in his biopic ‘BETTER MAN’ “I think you feel more for an animal suffering than you do a human. There’s nothing glamorous about a monkey doing cocaine. It’s actually a bit sad & uncomfortable”
It’s a play on the common phrase “dancing monkey” which is basic used to point and laugh at someone idiotic or acting ridiculous. So metaphorically he feels everyone is judging him.
The movie all but spells its out for you by the end. He felt "un-evolved" from everyone else around him, especially since he was thrown into an adult lifestyle at 15 and expected to cope playing the part of a constantly dancing monkey. I thought it was weird as fuck too before i watched it, and then I did and it made complete sense. Its very creative.
What a interesting way to do a biopic
But understandable after you see it.
Still can't get this song out of my head 😂
better and less creepy than the original music video
I know! I'm not that squeamish (I watch a lot of horror) but I just couldn't finish watching that video.
I love the original video.
Check out the new clip from BETTER MAN! In theaters December 25, 2024.

This was easily the most fun scene in the whole movie.
Curious George All Grown Up
Caesar really evolved🐵
Anyone know who is the woman at the very beginning who gets smacked with the door? Thanks in advance.
before I go watch this in the cinema, I am wondering if the Appleton sister from All Saints & Geri Halliwell are mentioned at all.
Nicole is a big part of it. Geri is not part of it.
Nicole is a major supporting character in the second half
Nicole is a huge part of the film and the abortion is mentioned. Geri Haliwell refused to be in the film.
He mentions 4 of the 5 Spice Girls once
Phenomenal
no one said never
Am I tripping out?
There's actually so much going on in this scene it's mesmerizing. This is the type of scene marvel action films wish they could emulate.
😎👍

Just say you don’t understand metaphors
