My dad used to have a 1984 model Gsxr 1100 EF, we went from where we live in north east England to Faro in Portugal for the Faro 98 bike rally. I was only 14 at the time, took us 7 days riding to get there, spent a few nights at the massive rally and got home in 6 days ( as we did2 days worth of travel one day, around 450 miles in a day )
Probably the best cult bike of all time the gixer 1100.top class tail piece really nice work well done.The only thing you will have to watch out for is petrol or gas spills when filling tank because I noticed you didn't clear coat or lacquer over tank stickers or decals they will lift if petrol hits them.Thanks for sharing a great build.
