Kinda boring, that one. Needs more parts, less doubling, more drive, and more technical intricacy. Even three parts would be better. If you're only having two, the top part needs to be more than simply a variation of the bottom part.

For me, I can hear issues with music, but putting my finger on exactly what it is can take me a while. I think the main issue with this piece is that the bottom part plays a theme and the top part isn't much more than a variation on that theme. Maybe even adding a middle part would help make that a bit less obvious. Maybe the top needs a little more... independence? I don't exactly know. There's just something holding it back.
