If an odyssey battery is completely discharged and I mean completely like you left the headlights on overnight will the typical homeowners battery charger bring it back to full charge even if that charger is designed FOR AN AGM battery.
Also will my vehicles charging system bring this battery back to life after it has been jumpstarted. I’m concerned as to whether or not this battery is suitable for off-road use when you are far away from a suitable charger

Do I set my charger to 6V or 12Volt setting when charging the battery?

A good battery last as long as it last. Some die premature some are immediate after they are fully discharged. Generally speaking if you have a good charging battery and it's been over 5 years keep tabs on if it's charging properly, if it is keep driving.

If my vehicle only charges at/floats at a maximum of 13.8 volts during operation will an AGM type battery tend to run a chronically undercharged condition?

A regular AGM "MIGHT" be fine. I ran a Optima Red Top for close to 10 years with my alternator only putting out 13.8 - 14.2v. It was still going incredibly strong till the day it was stolen out of my car. That was over 20 years ago when Optima's were good.
Back to the Odyssey, it is stated in one of their Odyssey videos that if you are using it in a start stop manner like your average car it is "IMPORTANT" that the voltage from the alternator to the battery be a minimum of 14.0 - 14.7v maximum for the battery to be properly charged.
Assuming you don't have high demand devices I'd be looking at an AGM from Deka, Interstate, maybe even Duracell. But make 100% sure your + & - cables are in great shape with no slightly corroded connectors and make sure that alternator is putting out what it should be, because that sounds low to me.
If you do use high demand devices and that's the manufacturers rated voltage for the alternator I'd be looking for an aftermarket solution.

Odyssey batteries are trash. I use them on my boat for my trolling motor, and they only last one season, and then they won't hold a charge. If you're thinking they should be under warranty, you should be right. The only thing worse than their batteries is their warranty and customer service.
