I'm sure, like me most people are grateful that someone like you takes the time to do a video like this one. Very helpful however, constructive criticism, for future videos, strategically place the camera in a place that doesn't just show your hands most of the time.
directions were perfect, i successfully replaced the glass in about 10 min, everything works great.. but i guess the glass was not my issue, the black screen behind it must be broken because i still see cracks and black stuff coming out of the cracks. what is that piece called and is it something i can replace or do i just need a new phone?
Daxtenator -Gaming , did you ever get that proximity sensor to work.. I ended up with the same problem ...the phone is useless as a phone when that isn't working
I got it figured out ...there is a little oval gasket that falls out when you change the screen/glass and separates the outgoing and incoming signal. Without the gasket the proximity sensor signal bounces back from the glass to the receiver side and registers as (close) , so it thinks it's at your ear all the time. I made my own out of foam tape and it works fine now .
replaced the digitizer but i think my adhesive is too think the screen keeps touching the lcd causing a "wet" effect under the screen what should i do?
Would this work if my screen wont respond? It takes about 4 min just unlock my phone , cant really do anything on it. Would i be able to replace the screen digitizer and have it work?
Hello, quick question im trying to buy the replacement screen. The issue i have is that i was wondering if the screen for the tmobile model will wrk on the metro pcs model? Any answer would be great?
Why disconnect everything? Once the frame is off, you disconnected a speaker, motherboard and other things...Then, you removed the screen 'ribbon' connector... then the old screen. There is only one connection from the screen to the inside. Seems removing everything but the connector from the old/new screen is unnecessary... They are not interdependent..or they are independent! My version... You remove the back cover.. the frame.. the connector to the front screen... Remove the old screen. Then, feed the ribbon back in, connect, press on new screen and put the covers back on. What did I miss???
when you removed the glass the little rubber that is in between the screen probably fell off ( if you cant find it , then your screwed ) but thats probably what it is hope that helps! :)

After watching your video I was able to figure out the USB/Charging Port replacement procedure. Not sure what Tiffany is upset about.
Can you do a video of how to replace the LCD screen?
Anyway you can do a tutorial on how to fix the usb charge port??? Or is there already a video?
Thank You!
Did every step that you said in tge video but only the top half of the digitizer wrks

do you think a hair dryer would heat up the glue on the digitizer? I mean my phone is pretty old...
Do you think you can do this on the LG optimus f7
one of the screws on my phone is stripped. any way of removing it? :/ thanks.
What can i use as the heat, can a blow dryer be used. The heat is to melt the adhesive right.
peace omorogiuwa Yes, you can use a hair dryer. Will take longer but it's safer.
I fixed the screen but the proximity sensor isnt working. Any help?

It should work. The only difference between the D500 And MS500 is the carrier
why is the digitizer for this one only 12 dollars but the f60 is $50? how much would you charge to fix it and do you get the original ones from LG?
