Keep in mind the blades passive effect! It actually has 2 max hits on the anchor. Same strength bonus but it scales by +2 every square the enemy takes up. So if it’s 5x5 it’ll add 10 because 5x2=10. This works with single tile enemies as well. 1x2=2 :)

I'm not sure how fast you get points at the giant's place but I'm sure it's a bigger pain than 290k gp. Still cool to see the new wep.

anchor max is 44 with best wildy gear, 46 bis. max hits colossal blade on pure is : 46 with str ammy, 45 with glory, 48 with absolute best in slot gear. for pvm its higher, 56 with pvm on very large targets (sarachnis)

Another add is there is no prayer req for it unlike the Anchor which is 50 pray requirement. this is huge for the 60 atk pures and zerks!

It's +2 max hit on a 1x1 target up to a +10 on a 5x5 target, cause of the item effect.

It's basically the same exact thing as the barrel chest anchor stat wise, just has slash instead of crush bonus.
It’s better than the anchor by 2 max hits. The passive makes it 2Xnumber of tiles the enemy takes up. Prayers are 1 tile and 1x2=2 added max hits :D

obby maul bneck has 102 str bonus, 2 more than colossal blade, but colossal blade has less of a hit time at 6 seconds

Not really. They both have the same strength bonuses. Only difference is the attack style bonuses (anchor for crush, blade for slash)
Anchor is cheap af. They will be interchangeable depending on price.
