I have been following this woman since 2002!! I was too young to have found her when she first came out but I wish that I did!! Any time Im down and out I turn to her.. She is like my second mother! I have EVERY book she has ever had published.. I read and re read my favorite books by her.. When I need to hear her I come here and I watch her videos.. Iyanla I am soo glad you listened and allowed your light to shine!!!! I love you!!!

I would like to take this time and thank you for the light that has shined from you and touched me. I am at a place in my life where everything in my life seems to be broken. I now know that all things are lessons. And it is alright that GOD has to give me these lessons so I can complete my journey. My heart is in pieces, my marriage is in pieces, my finances are in pieces, everyone who I looked for advice and trusted with the most delicate part of me have passed on, I thank you !!!

Discovered Iyania on a piece from Oprah (OWN), that I hunted out more of your segments on UA-cam. As you shared your story, your life, your loss, your joy, all this. The discovery was a women who was so beautiful and so free in Jesus Christ for He had set you free from the things that this life has thrown at you. Yet you go on in joy, in love, peace, assureadness and in such beauty that I praise Him for leading me to hearing this. I too am a seeker after Him. I long to be more free today than yesterday. I know Him as healer, peace giver, joy giver, life sustainer. All things exist with Him. May I find my purpose as you have. God bless your life with every good thing Iyania and thank you! You have reminded me that without God I am nothing. I have been struggling with my relationship with God and I had to remind myself to ," seek ye first the kingdom of God and all else will follow"

OMG..I have been praying for your daughter for YEARS without knowing it! I believe in Angel numbers (triple digits) & I have ALWAYS (saw them twice yesterday even!), seen the numbers & time- 9:11. I never understood it to mean more than the tragic event in the Twin Towers in 01, so I always prayed for the victims & their families. In the last decade though, since my mom taught me about the Angels & the numbers (she is with your daughter now), I have been praying for not only those victims, but for anyone who those numbers, 911 stand for...whoever those numbers are attached to (ex-John Ritter passed on 09/11/03), so maybe his family needs those prayers...how AMAZING that it was meant for YOU, too! I will always think of u & your daughter now, when I see those numbers. God bless you for all you do & for sharing His gifts to get us through our most difficult times, by sharing your stories. God bless all who are going through it & I hope they are blessed, like me, in finding you to help them. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.💜
Love Iyanla but that one about the clothes and the honor and glory of God is off. Scriptures says, and rightly so, that it is not the outer appearance that God is after but the condition of the inner man. Not that you shouldn't present yourself decent and in good order or even glowingly, but don't confuse that with the glory of God in you. I think her daughter was being highly image conscious as is understandable for a young person. Scripture also says to gravitate towards people of low estate, which will occasionally mean being comfortable not looking like someone of wealth. That whole reasoning she gave is why people occupy themselves with dressing in their "Sunday best" on Sunday, when God has said, in scripture, not to be occupied with that. I'm with her on a lot of things, but not that. Okay, heard some other things that are off. I know this is older footage and maybe Iyanla has refined some of her views since then. Oh well, we all have room and the right to grow.
