I like that chowder recipe! In our house, we usually shredded the potato rather than cubed them. And added some very finely shredded carrot. One of the little variations we use now is to add a little cilantro. Plus, the older recipe used a little diced bacon. Way back, they added suet!
Oregon sounds like the perfect state for seafood lovers: Crabs & clams all free for the taking. And tons of wonderful forests and wildlife. It definitely is on my list of states to move to. Is there anything about Oregon that ISN'T good?
***** Really? Do you mean just in the cities? Because if I move there I will be looking for a rural property that is about 20-30 minutes outside of Portland so I can go in the city to eat at the great restaurants..but live in the quiet countryside. You don't mean the rural areas are congested too..right?
luke johnson It sounds like you live there, Luke. Can you recommend a nice rural area that is 20-30 minutes outside of Portland where I can live on a few acres with no near neighbors? Thanks!
Could you comment on this video on YT. they claim this is a view at Cannon Beach. Several of us think this isn't Haystack Rock, and don't know for sure where this Bridge foundation is. I guessed it might be the Yaquina Bridge, but what those rocks are . . . not Haystack Rock, right?? Here's the link: watch?v=PjGEn_QB2L0
This is a great channel.

Keep watching & listening. He's genuine and you'll grow to love him. Actually, I should find a way to get rid of him so I can get his job!

What's wrong with rain? It makes everything green and lush.
