What happened to the beautiful young woman? Did she marry someone else?

My issue with celibacy in the priesthood is that the world needs more good fathers and husbands.

those called to marriage should step up to the plate anyway, and Priests do become Fathers, they become fathers of an entire congregation and have to focus on helping them in spiritual matters. Where would we be without them giving their all?
A father has to be there for his kids and wife and not only that, he has to put them first above all other created things in order to be a good father. He has to know their interior life and be fully present. A priest cannot be those things well because he is obliged to tend to the matters of God first by his vocation. While possible, it would be an extreme conflict of roles, and because priests arent exactly paid handsomely, this would only cause further friction.
I think if someone felt called to marriage and wanted to serve the community as a spiritual leader, they could easily become a deacon.

@@sophiagomez5619 Fair enough. I still think there should be a way to manage the time, plenty of other denominations do that.

@@edwardlecore141 it’s not about time management, it’s about giving up everything. It’s not a utilitarian thing. Our modern utilitarian mindset has fogged our vision on seeing how beautiful celibacy for the kingdom of God is.

Any young that is not interested in girls and sex is not normal and nobody can dispute that. This clown spoke about the girl he was about to marry ,is this a cover for his real sexuality . It appears to me if you're not sexually normal the next best thing is become a priest.if God gives vocations to become priests why did he give vocations to all the paedophile priests

@@edwardlecore141 How many of those denominations' parishes offer daily mass for their parishioners? How many require the daily recitation of the Office by its priests? The Roman Catholic Church would not be able to provide what it does for its faithful if it did as those sects do.
