not every product is suitable for all skin. i'm not even talking about skin types here. some people may have an reaction to certain concoctions of chemicals used, but separately used, it's fine. some products may also just be ineffective for some people, but highly effective for others. personally, there are certain products from some brands that work for me, and some i have had an allergic reaction too. knowing ingredients is great, but you shouldn't blame it on a brand unless if they're trying to intentionally screw with you.
kriti sanon's products are the same. clearly, they are not trying to screw with the public and have been very responsive to every question asked. Dermatologists on social media are mostly trying to sell their own products if they have any. their advice isn't bad always, but anyone on social media can be lying to you. rather just try things you want to try, and if it's working well for you, use it. it may work for some people online but it does not have to for you.
most doctors and professionals will tell you the same. use a product if it's working, but immediately stop if you're having a reaction. no matter what the brand is. in the end, that's all it comes down to.

Before getting some random influencer for skincare related queries just consult a dermatologist near you and get the products which actually suits you. Most of these commercial products don't work at all because its really very generalized. Medicated products are less expensive and a sure shot thing for your skin. Just invest once in a dermatologist and then keep up with the products from local medical stores. I don't trust these influencers and I only trusted my doctor, the result being my skin is in its best condition now and still getting better everyday. with only 2K or less investment on skincare products for 3-4 months. Hey! Huge skincare enthusiast over here....
1 first of all its not the worst brand out there. Count dps skincare brand too. The way its ranged over 2000 its not affordable for most of people.
    a. Cause only her fans are gonna buy her products. And most of the times they don't have the budget. Cause someone who can buy such expensive products there are much better options available in market by established companies in this price range. Why would those people buy hers ???
    b. Ingredients she's used are basic. Most of them are not suitable for most of the skin types. The ingredients, the texture everything is bad about them. She's herself not very well informed about the ingredients she used in her products.
    2. About kriti sanon....they are saying it folles indian standards about ingredient lists. But you can find many videos by indian doctors and influencers calling them out for ingredient list
    3. There price is under 500 but problem with her brand is
    a. She's not mentioned the% of actives present in the product + b. The formulas are really bad even if ingredients are good.

People should understand , whatever your influencer says to you is her/his opinion. Not the universal truth..The problem is people themselves. They don't study , don't like studying, and are questioned about what is the benefit of studying ? Study is important that makes you aware about your life and circumstances and history. When you are aware about your real history , not the history taught you via whatsapp. You learn math, science and question about your doubts . Soon you will become self sufficient about other things as well. You will have your own perspective with right answers that is right in karma as well. Then you stop following every other person you find on internet just because you want the satisfaction of being right in a particular matter..

I'm probably gonna get canceled for this, but there's something people should know about "cruelty free" brands - such brands use ingredients that were either 1. Tested on animals in the past and were deemed safe, so the company didn't test them again, OR 2. they were tested on an animal that PETA doesn't count : humans. Now they say that those humans are "willing, healthy volunteers", but tell me honestly, which "willing" person would agree to consume an unknown drug or cosmetic which can give them anything from an unknown reaction to life threatening problems?
I know some people say that in vitro testing is done, or on stem cells, but those tests are expensive, and also, some products, like sunscreen and drugs (or anything that requires testing 'efficacy') needs to be tested on living beings.
So, next time you're boasting about "cruelty free" products, remember those helpless kids, teenagers and single moms who gave their bodies to the test to earn a meagre sum of money to keep themselves alive, just so that you, the consumer, may not have the guilt of *animal cruelty*.
Cruelty free things are often cruel to humans. Please remember that.

The reason why we buy a product these days is because of beauty influencers who know nothing about skincare, there are some skincare products that show great results instantly but isn’t good for our skin or doesn’t benefit our skin in any way. So there’s not point in buying them. Not that there are many aestheticians, doctors, dermatologists who have started their own channels people are well aware of skincare products. That’s a great thing though.

But why are the same ingredients mentioned thrice? How is that Indian standard? And what is fragrance doing in skincare?
And of course brown skin has different concentrations of melanin. Thats why brown skin doesn't get sunburned as easily as white skin. Also, glycolic acid at higher concentration can worsen pigmentation issue in brown skin as it reacts with the melanin compounds. And this is just scratching the surface.

But everytime I open social media any app it makes me put at least one item in cart or in wishlist. I own so many lipsticks so many clothes. There's not even a space for penny. Nd about skincare to be very honest no one knows reality of it, mamaearth owns almost 3-4 brand nd they launch exact same product in all. Nd the manufacturing unit that manufacturers for mamaearth , manufacturers for many cheap local brands too nd almost all other brands has this scenario just lil marketing nd they represent it like it's life changing every day new product is coming out. Every day new clothing trend or hair accessory becoming trend. We can't rely 100% on anyone's review , everything is just marketing. This things make me sad nd give fomo that I don't have this , I don't have that where I should realise I don't need that. Reviews used to save money now they give hole in pocket.
