UA-cam has made a long series of horrible decisions for years. They're too comfortable in their perceived monopoly of the market. As soon as there's a decent competitor, UA-cam will start making consumer minded decisions rather than sucking the corporate dick they have surgically attached to their throat.
UA-cam isn't a permanent library. I watched a documentary on deaths in Disneyland. Left a comment, came back a week later and it was gone. Sorry, this video is now private.
My wife was Jawed's high school science teacher. I met him several times and chaperoned his senior prom. He was/is a brilliant young man and deserves all the success he has gotten.
I still miss the old UA-cam, no ridiculous ads, both like and dislike buttons were available, almost no restrictions and free for all. I think as soon as they start taking it as a business, the original UA-cam was gone.

I miss being able to see 24+ pages of content for me to peruse. They took that away completely. Now you can ONLY watch UA-cam recommendations, EVEN IN THE MAIN SEARCH. Its crazy when you think about it because it makes new channels completely invisible and UA-cam itself chooses who's videos can be visible in search. Bottom line: we lost all choice, and original content is currently hiding behind the new money-centric chaos.
UA-cam would be able to get it back in an instant cuz they do backups. Even if something is deleted by you in your storage device it's still not truly deleted. Software like Recuva is the best free option but there are also better paid ones.
