For anyone wondering, the original video was from a channel called "Tongguan Roujiamo", who basically advertise this one kind of cake-bread by uploading multiple shorts with kids, grandmas, grandpas, homeless people etc. using the bread to make literally the same kind of burgers every time. They follow this same pattern, using children and elderly to garner attention, having Traditional Chinese music in the background, etc. Fruits and Nature reused their video, thinking it wouldn't get popular. When it did, Tongguan Roujiamo did not take it lightly, and likely requested a DMCA takedown, because they didn't want someone else to get such a huge profit off their videos. Hope you found this helpful.
@@UNothing did you not read the rest of the paragraph? “Roujiamo did not take it lightly, and *likely* requested a DMCA takedown.” That’s what we call a guess.
It’s crazy to think the channel reposted someone else’s content, which explains the takedown. The kid cooking certainly looked impressive, but it’s a shame the viral success came from stolen content. This definitely took a strange turn for the channel.
I didn't know this was the new most viewed short; it shows how quickly UA-cam Shorts can grow over time, give it a few years and a short will surpass 5 billion views
I despise videos that talk about shorts in a 26 minute span time going into every fu***ng detail. This video is so much better that it is only 3 minutes. Gets straight to the point and doesn't just spiral into circles just to tell you the end result at the very end.
I don't know why youtube gives verified checkmarks to channels spamming Shorts of obviously stolen content. But they do, so people keep doing it. A lot of the time, the channel will then get sold or they'll start uploading original content and remove the Shorts that got them all of the subs.
The problem is that it's not isolated to this one channel or video. It's a widespread problem people stealing content (Chinese content in particular -- Douyin, Xiaohongshu, etc...) and monetizing the videos under the pretense of false copyright (They literally steal the video and put their own watermark on it or pretend to be that person to scam simps or to push people to OF accounts) or under the guise of "fair use" with absolutely ZERO link back or credits given. People need to start respecting copyrights...
Coming from a health and safety side, as daft as it sounds, but logical at the same time. Perhaps they removed the video under child safety concerns. Although the kid is doing a brilliant job, there's probably going to be someone who was offended by a child cooking on a hot rock and a fire at their feet.

Let's be honest. I remember that i reported that video because i was sick of seeing those channels reposting stolen contents from chinese tiktok (douying) and profiting from these. This makes the original owners really lost what it's meant for them. Sometimes, i cant even search the original owners from wechat search or baidu, yes, i use them exclusively for things from china. Several food channels I'm watching also writes this is our official channel on youtube blabla bla, Not trying to be a karen online but i decided to do something after my favourite chinese youtuber Li Ziqi got into trouble for IPO rights. Original content owners should not suffer from their things being stolen and used by someone else. If you also suspect some channels, i really recommend reporting them, if they're true owners, nothing would happen, but stolen? (Edited - ofc, may be not my report because i often got youtube shadow bans and i think that they dont care much about individual reports that much, many might have reported that, especially chinese users might be the largest part of the group)
This video was most likely removed due to its content involving a minor. UA-cam has strict policies regarding content featuring children, particularly those 14 years old and younger. A key rule is that comments should generally be disabled on videos where children in this age group are the primary focus. This is a crucial safety measure to protect them from potentially harmful interactions and comments. You'll often notice this on many kids' music videos or content explicitly aimed at younger audiences - the comments are turned off for this very reason. It's possible the presence of the young boy in this video, coupled with the potential for inappropriate comments, triggered UA-cam's safety protocols and led to its removal.
Where is the video filmed. I think some tribes around western china/nepal don't like to be filmed for spiritual/cultural reasons. So they may have requested the videos removal.
I have seen this short before, i have seen the same cooking style by a grandpa and grandma in another short, prolly the same channel i think even those are removed but i can't be too sure
A month ago I seen that video with almost 2B views and I was commenting it on other UA-camrs videos and not many people know it but it randomly got recommended so I seen the views and realized it is the new most viewed short on UA-cam but now it is deleted I'm so sad also why would he delete a video with almost 2B views he got $50,000 - $250,000 and lost money like why would he do that?
Reuploaded videos do get higher views than original creators. Example is the Remix song of " they are taking the hobbies to isengard" Original creator didn't even get a million views while responder goes millions.
The issue is that in China where I happen to live very often a lot of the local videos posted into chat groups etc of peoples kids pets and just family members doing something that was either fun unexpected etc gets shared a lot amongst the community. Sadly none of those vids generate any income but are often grabbed copied and reuploaded by youtubers who do get the clicks and possible revenue. As for the bread in question it is a very popular item in China and flamecracken is probably correct in his post. Sadly anything that anyone can find on the webs is fair game for uploaders. Just look at the so called fun channels and how often do you see the same vids or the same vids flipped 180 degrees to avoid being flagged etc. Anyways....there is a much better video of a similar child recorded on a mobile phone by his grandmother that sits down and makes fried rice that he then shares with his younger sibling. Not gonna link it here but easy to find. Many UA-cam shorts are simply stolen from the Chinese version of Tiktok when it comes to kids pets food etc.
