My son passed away almost 3 months ago . I am thinking about putting up a special tree with just ornaments for him . He was only 18 and left behind a 2 yr old little girl . I happened to see your post , and had to say, that I agree 100 Percent! Talk about gifted! I am gifted but she has alot MORE Gifted talent. I Thank you for sharing all your DIY's for us! Merry Christmas!
She has original ideas, not just the hackneyed “let’s paint over a Dollar Tree cheap sign” or gluing a napkin to a $1.25 mass-produced item from China.
I love how you give step by step instructions a lot of them doesn't do that so you don't always be able to tell what you're doing or what you're using thank you
You are incredible. These ornaments don't look like they were thrown together. I am amazed at the finishing touches you add and with your fantastic imagination, you make these ornaments look like a million bucks. I am so glad I lucked into your channel. You have the best creative mind and that doesn't come easy to just anyone. Shopping at Dollar Tree is a start and then your create with magic. Its the little things that matter and you cover them with such ease and confidence. I am so glad I found you.
I don’t think I’ve ever watched a crafter especially for 3 1/2 hours or I loved everything you made. You are so much my vibe in my style. I love your style
Yay!! Sandy you’re going to smile bigger than a mule eating briars :). I’m 65 and HAVE to have a tree. It’s like the year’s payoff...the colorful lights, enjoying it with only the tree lights in at night, making a paper chain garland and other nostalgic decorations, the peace the season brings and best of all, baby Jesus. An early, heartfelt Merry Christmas to you, Sandy! 🎁
Oh my goodness! I can’t imagine not having a tree up! I started putting out Christmas decor in September and have 5 trees up already! So glad to hear you have changed your mind!
I’m 74 and love Christmas. We have been working on our mobile home for the last two christmases. I want to decorate so bad and because of age I have always stared nov . But I got sick this year so to late Th o start. But like you watching this makes me want to.
Those lil yellow roses r just beautiful. I'm going to have get back a Dollar Tree soon. I was just there today. I want some of those. I've got several ways I could use them. Thank you r sharing
These are awesome. They can also be made into tier tray minis. Just awesome. I will be watching this over and over yo get some ideas for my minis as well as mini Christmas tree decorations and ornaments. Thank you for sharing God bless you and your family and please stay safe.
I use the Dollar Tree "Jenga tumbling blocks" to make my wooden frames. I have several made up, locks I use the cracking effect technique with school glue. . I decorate tiered trays with this
Your ornaments are lovely. My friends’ home burned down and they are with us for the season. I am working on making them some “vintage” looking ornaments to celebrate the birth of Jesus. AND they can take them home when they have one. Thank u for the lovely practical ideas.❤❤❤
I really enjoyed watching you make these ornaments. I would have loved 2 - 30 ornament videos, just because I could not tear myself away. So, I put off doing some chores and errands until later. Lol!
I follow quite a few crafters, but your items are high end. You always cover any glue that shows, and the result makes all the difference in the final product.
Loved SOOOOO MANY OF THEM! Honestly...the shabby chic snowman and and the beautiful shabby chic tassel with the small, gold planter pot topper were my top 2 - simple and GORGEOUS! I make ornaments every year to give away as a small Xmas gift and trade at a cookie party, so this got my wheels turning! I saved it for future reference. Tysm!!!
I'm absolutely in awe of your gifted talent! I always enjoy your videos. Matter of fact, I save them. Not only because of your beautiful and inspiring projects, but I genuinely enjoy your tutorials. You explain your process so clearly and succinctly, your tone is very pleasant, and your camera angle is spot on! Thank you for sharing your gift with your viewers!
Aw, thanks so very much Kimberly, I truly appreciate your kind words. I am so glad you enjoyed ☺️ Thanks for watching and supporting my love fo crafting!!! Take care 💖🤗
What empresses me the most is the deftness with which you are able to work your hands; knot tying is astounding, you manage to keep your fingers clean and it appears that you have developed a strategy for not burning yourself with the hot glue!?!?!?! Where possible, I would decorate both sides of an ornament the same as I find anything hanging on a tree tends to twist about and show the less finished backside.
I just love everything you make. I’ve been binge watching your channel. You’re such an inspiration to me. I just know I can make these things too after watching you.
I have enjoyed watching your video it made me wish I was still working with my folks, I was a direct support staff for adults with disabilities for 18 years until I retired. we would have had so much fun doing these they loved doing crafts with me. We made all sorts of thing together. These would be great for nursing home craft directors too.
Yay, I am so glad you enjoyed. I will have a few new ideas coming out in July for "Christmas in July ". I love making ornaments 🤗 Thanks for watching. Have a wonderful weekend 💖
Oh my goodness. I love this video and you being Canadian as well is just an extra bonus. I live in rural Nova Scotia so Dollarama is my, " go to ", store. Love this video tfs.
Hi Donna, I want to compliment you on the work you have put in to the comments section and showing people how to watch your videos. So much work and effort. Thank you. And thank you for all these wonderful little craft ideas.
Oh, thank you! I am sorry for the late reply, I have been VERY busy!! I try to get to the comments when I can. There's been a lot as of late, hard to keep up 😉 Thanks so much for watching, so glad you enjoyed. Merry Chirstmas! 💖
We started a tradition last year with my grandkids. We made memory ornaments. The clear plastic ones, we got all kinds of stuff to put in them & to decorate the outside too, but they had to bring something that they really liked to put on the inside. One brought a little motorcycle, another a small video game box etc…We had so much fun! We each made like 3 I think. A pretty one, one to bring home & a memory one. I don’t know what we’ll do this year. That’s why I’m binge watching all of these videos this year. I Love all your ideas.
Love the snowflake ornaments. My favorite Christmas activity is setting up Christmas town and when my thumbs work, wrapping gifts. I almost always incorporate ornaments as an embellishment with the ribbon and handmade bows. You’re giving me all KINDS of ideas!! 🥰
I hope u still get these. The diy with the ribbon tassel, tiny terracotta pot and bouquet on top if it were bigger and fuller it would make a georgeous vintage wedding bouquet covering the pot with more greenery.
Can’t pick out a favorite. Because, each and every one is the cutest. Great for gifts as you say. Now, to see what I can get at our Dollar Tree and Thrift stores.
Well I am so happy I found you this morning! I love your ornaments and how they look high end. I will definitely be making many of your ideas! I have been asked to decorate my uncles large church this Christmas along with the tree. He loves my home made things so I will implement many hand painted ornaments. I would love to see more ideas you have for decorations and ornaments appropriate for a large country Presbyterian church. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful mind with us.
Awww, thank you so much, so glad you like them. Sounds like a fun!! I share a variety of styles here on my channel. More will be coming out over the next few months. Thanks for watching. Take care💖😉
If you're looking for country type decorations, I've had success with sturdy kraft bags from Amazon. Added scrap paper punched or cut out, and I have gift bags for coworkers... but also a very cute way to pretty up plants, evergreen boughs, make luminaries, put programs into (for something sturdy you can put prayer or song books into a crate). You might also want to ask if people have older ornaments. They start to chip or get spotty. In the latter case you can spray paint them, or wrap them in yarn like at the start of the video. If you have mason jars, they're beautiful for candles (use flameless in this case). More scrap paper on the outside can give you very pretty shadows, like a reverse luminary. You can also ask for baskets, fill them with evergreen (stores and tree stands always have fresh branches they've trimmed) and pinecones. If you plan on using the basket ever again, you can buy some cheap fleece or the $1 fleece blankets that are everywhere. Plaid is popular but there are any basic patterns you can think of. Cheap signs or old picture frames make great decorations and can be filled with religious phrases or images for any tables you have to set up. There are very cheap wooden frames in different colors and shapes that you can spray for quick ornaments. Same goes for shaped wooden ornaments. You can get like 60+ for $15, and spray with glittery spray paint and toss a little extra snowy glitter at them while wet if you'd like. Or you can just leave them a little rustic and pop a bow in the middle of each. Lots you can do fast and cheap :)
@@arisucheddar3097 If you have any old hymnals that you no longer use, you could cut, or tear, out (and then tear around the other three edges) carol pages, to glue onto pale wrapping paper, then frame - not using the glass - and add odd bits of fresh greenery. If your hymnals are still good, you could photocopy the relevant pages and 'age' the paper with a quick dip in some weak tea, and leave them to dry. Photocopied maps of the Holy Land might be to your taste, too. We made some amazing 'snowflakes' just by drawing around various sized plates onto white paper, cutting out, folding into six, and cutting with small scissors and scalpels. We used a needle and 'invisible' thread to make the loops to hang them from the beams in our house. They flutter in the slightest breeze, and look so delicate. I might use highlights of salt, or white glitter, this year. I hope you have a wonderful time! Best wishes from a Brit with - clearly - too much time on her hands!
Good morning, I always want a shabby chic, vintage, romantic tree, watching your DIY’s just got the best inspiration, I always think my style was rustic/ farmhouse but felt in love with those shabby chic projects, Thank you so much 💜❤️💙
I love the way you did the fox, owl, and hedgehog. All felt animals can be done and put on a woodland tree. Thanks for all you wonderful ideas and beautiful DIYs.
When you said you were a florist, it didn't really surprise me. Your things are so beautiful and well balanced. Any time you add something to a what looks like a finished item I think 'she's spoiling it now' and then it turns out more beautiful. In another video you made a done on a wooden board. I am in love with that?
hello. i have only just discovered your channel but have been binge watching your videos. i have done craft activities for many, many years (i’m 69!) now. you are an extraordinarily talented artist. i love so many of your creations and though i live in a very tiny apartment i am going to be trying to make many of your designs. thank you so much for sharing your talents! ❤
Thank you so much for all of your wonderful ideas. Also, thank you for using such relaxing music. This was a much needed escape from a very tough day for me.
I am so glad I found you channel a couple of weeks ago go. You are so talented and creative and you are so soft spoken when you are speaking and doing your teaching process. I wish I knew you in person, but this is awesome as well. Thank you. I needed your Channel so much. Depression is so evil. Maybe if I can start doing some of your crafts it will help me. I loved the bucket and the cone flowers they both whet beautiful. The cone was elegant; it remained me of some gentleman giving his love a beautiful bouquet of flowers on a date. (My husband, his 3 rd Heavenly Birthday was October 15th. He would have been 56 years old.)
Awww, thank you so much, so glad you like them. Crafting has definitely helped me get through some very difficult times!! Take it one day at a time!! Thanks for watching. Take care💖😉
I have really enjoyed watching your videos. I was trying to craft, but found it hard to do because I kept stopping to watch your video. Definitely NOT the same content I've seen in many other videos! Thank you so much. I am subscribed now & have my bell on, so that whenever you post a new video, I will get notified!!! Now to hop over to see your daughters page.
Aw, you are so sweet. I try my best to be different 😉 So glad you enjoyed. I appreciate you stopping by my daughter's channel as well, she loves to craft and create just as much as I do 😄🥰 Thanks for watching and your kind words and support!! Take care 💖🤗
Caroline, you mentioned you're theme is a woodland Christmas, mine too. If you have any other videos that are specic to a Woodland Christmas, I'd love to watch them
Here's a playlist with a few other Woodlandish Christmas DIYs ua-cam.com/video/GL2SqkWJKOY/v-deo.html Here's more Nature Inspired Christmas ua-cam.com/video/aXoNuWMMFGc/v-deo.html A lot of the ornaments are already in this video 😉 Thanks for watching. Take care. PS. my name is actually Donna 😀💖🤗💗
The little lace circles and half circle ruffles also make cute Angels 👼🏻 wood bead for the had or whatever you have and some mini silk roses and bam 💥 Angels 💕
Hello! Lovely things, and I plan to make some of them with my son, who has autism and developmental disabilities. Your thorough instructions make it just perfect for him - we can make presents for his aunts! We live in the UK, so we shall go to Poundland, of course. A question: please could you tell me what 'mod podge' is? Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
@@angelamaryquitecontrary4609 sounds like a fun day of crafting 😉 Mod Podge is a brand of decoupage glue. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching . Take care 💖 🙂
Thank you for this wonderful video. You voice is so calming and you do not talk too fast. Thank you for that it makes it easier to understand and I appreciate that. I think the Gnomes and snowflakes were my favorites.
You have such a calm way of instructing us. Also, nice music that is lowered when you speak. Very helpful for a 70-year-old like me! Thank you for explaining how to find the links. I’ve never understood when a tutorial on Y.T. Says to check the links below- & I see no links below. You have explained it so well. Thank you & bid bless. BTW, you sound just like the U.S. Congress woman, Ms Katie Porter from California. 🥰🥰
I think my favorite thing to create is Christmas ornaments! They are all very inspiring and I love quite a few I haven’t tried! Can’t wait to get back into all. Thanks for sharing! (Last year they did have a set of 3 lanterns at Joann’s for 19.99 😳 nothing different except package and a set.) bummer DT hasn’t had them this year so far…. I love the angels and gnomes so much. ❤️
You are so talented and your ornaments are absolutely beautiful! I said I wasn’t going to do anything today but rest! That’s exactly what I did while watching this amazing video. How do you pick a favorite? I know I couldn’t because I love them all. Thank you so much! Such a relaxing video!🎄🎄

@@arisucheddar3097 great ideas 😉

When you said you were a florist, it didn't really surprise me. Your things are so beautiful and well balanced. Any time you add something to a what looks like a finished item I think 'she's spoiling it now' and then it turns out more beautiful. In another video you made a done on a wooden board. I am in love with that?
Thank you kindly, I appreciate it. Thanks for watching. Have a great day Zim. 😀💖

Take care💖😉
I loved both the cards. You had me at snowflake, stamps or dies!

Yay, so glad you enjoyed and found this helpful 😉
