@@ritarobinson6944 I'm so happy to hear that! Thank you so much!! I love that you can use some of these crafts to create special Christmas memories with your Grandkids💕💕💕 Take care! Happy Holidays to you and your family!!🤗
First, stop apologizing, you are doing great. My grandmother made red velvet cake for Christmas and only Christmas. She took it to heaven with her. We hate that we didn't get it from her before she passed.
I am so sorry! My grandmother left all the family recipes in an old metal filing box. She left a chocolate mayonnaise cake recipe that EVERYONE loves! And also a roquefort dressing recipe that I hate, but people who love blue cheese ADORE IT! My great, great-grandmother left a red velvet cake recipe in there. Would you like to try it? I would be happy to share it! 😊
Love your kitty. I had an all white cat. His name was soda pop because he loved 7 up. Unfortunately he passed away a few years ago but I had the pleasure of having him to love for 23 years.
I have an all white cat also. I named her Baby. She is very talkative and listens to everything you say, and it is like she is answering me. She is more like a dog following and acting.
I thought the designs were charming. I loved the bells and beads. So many uses. Hung from a doorknob or pulls on a china closet. Several gathered together at different length placed on a an outdoor gate. So much fun.
Love all of these...I am older now . I was huge into crafting in the eighties and nineties... I have my Mom's hand written recipe framed in my kitchen... So here is a tip some of you may like. ...if you want to make copies of hand written recipes and age them... you can also use dry pigments and a makeup brush... I actually use face powder...back in the day we didn't have dry pigments readily available...so just find a face powder in a shade that looks aged to you...and voila... no fear of the paper getting too wet and rippling. Happy holidays 🎄
Thank you you have done some very nice and interesting pieces and I do like your Color choice I just found you so I’m. aNewbie to your channel cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
All of your projects are beautiful. I use to have a white cat just like yours, mine was deaf, I wanted to cry when I saw yours, I miss mine terribly. I loved your sweet doggy too, there is nothing better than our fur babies.
Thank you so much Rosalind💕 Lol yes Kitty is so curious about everything😀. Yay! We just got the candelabra up in that window. I love it! Have a great evening! Take care 💗
I found your video only on the 2nd of January 2023. I will be doing some of the crafts this Christmas God willing.thanks. wishing each and everyone of you a happy 2023
I love your kitty. I have an all white cat too. Her name is Kimmie. She is my everything. Never leaves my side. Except when shes in her condo, the bottom cabinet. Lol. Love all the diys. Cant pick a favorite.
Also, we used to do a version of the paper cone wreath with punch cards, spray painted gold. My dad worked in the IT department of a hospital in the 60s, so we had a nearly endless supply of punch cards for projects. :) We also did angels out of punch cards, where the body was made of a cone with the point cut off, like your first tree. Fun memories. :)
My mom was a key punch operator in the early 70's, she made a ton of wreaths from the punch cards and everyone loved them! I was little and remember helping her with them. Good memories ☺
Two years later and this pops up on my video recommended! So glad it did and so glad i found you. These truly are magical and what I love best *HIGH END* ♥️♥️♥️
The "old" recipes gave me a tear in my eye.....it looks just like my Mommas' handwriting ! I'll definitely be making a few of these for my Family Thanks !
I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your video! Your ideas are not too expensive but look very expensive! Most of the videos out now show crafts that just look so cheap! Thank you so much for taking the time to explain the process! I loved them all soooo much! I am so glad I found you!!!!
I love the paper wreath I made one similar in school in fifth grade out of the old key punch cards then we spray painted them and decorated them and I gave it to my grandmother she kept for years 😀👍great memories
The large paper cone wreath brought back memories of my Mother making one! She also made the Reader’s Digest Angel where you turn down the pages and spray paint them.
Love those pillows-can't wait to make them. I did find them on the Walmart website and they were nearly $35 each. So making it yourself is not only less expensive, but tons more fun. Thanks for the tip❤️
I was impressed with the finish on the jingle bells at the end! Brilliant! It's fun to use ornaments/decor that has sentimental value each year but it's also great to have inexpensive additions for a bit of freshness. Updating pieces helps too. Wonderful ideas!
Hey when I lived in Morocco the first time I didn't have an oven. I learned to make some beautiful desserts and good meals with just a stove top. The second time I lived there I have a stove and an oven! :-)
You are so creative! I believe my oldest sister & some of her friends made the wreath with the book pages & spray painted them gold & silver, they were gorgeous! I really have enjoyed your video!
Hi Deb❤Thank you so much!! I'm so happy you stopped by🤗 LOL Kitty cracks me up when the camera comes out! She's like a model 😄. I hope you have a fabulous week!
Oh my I can't pick a favorite, I will be recreating several. I really wish I had room for the book page wreath, as an avid reader I would leave it up all year adding different embellishments for different seasons.
Your large paper wreath was stunning, but I liked your embroidery hoop idea the most because of your ability to transition the look of it for any occasion or time of year. Very clever. : )
I love every single one of these crafts! It was so hard to pick a favorite, but I really love the scrap wood trees! They can be used year round! And they look rustic and elegant at the same time! Thank you
I am so not an earth tone girl! My mother was all about the earth tones until about a year before she died. Her mother, my grandmother was French Canadian and was all about the jewel tone colors like me. I love the idea but they would be in Jewel tone colors. I also love metallic gold. My favorite color is hot pink and has been since I was 3 years old. :-)
So many beautiful projects!!! So hard to pick a favorite… I did especially love the bells!!😍😍😍😍😍 and the Poinsettia pillow came out gorgeous!!! Thank you for sharing these great ideas!!!
You could “decorate” your tree by substituting other colors of Pom poms scattered around the tree. Maybe a bigger one in yellow, gold or silver, for the “star on top” :)
You know your projects are a success when they are cat tested and dog approved. Love the paper wreath, going to make one with pages from A Christmas Carol, with illustrations. Thank you for your ideas! P.S. If you put the beads on a fat pipe cleaner or 2, they won't spin when painted :)
😄🥰 So true lol. If the pets like it then they must be ok lol. 💖Thank you so much! I'm really happy you liked it! Thank you for the awesome pipe cleaner tip! That will really come in handy😍💕💕💕 Have fun making your wreath!
I enjoyed so many of your crafts which I can introduce to my Granddaughters ages 4 & 6 However I'm very traditional & reminisce about the childhood awe of the joyful colors of 🎄 Christmas 😊 Alway to rememberng "The Reason for The Season - the birth of JesusChrist" Oh! what a wonderful time of year so bright cheerful & shine everywhere ✨️ Lots of JOY will always be Christmas for me🎉🎉🎉
When I was a kid we would make the wreath that you made out of the book pages, but we would spray paint it gold. But yours looked really good without the gold paint,
