What kind of fabric do you use for the patch?

I always try to stitch with a similar fabric to the garment. So if the garment is stretch fabric then I use a stretch patch, if the garment is denim then I use a denim patch. On this garment I used some fabric from some leggings, both of them stretch fabric.

Another easy way to mend these sleeves would be to cut the sleeve ends off and replace with ribbing. Not quite as artistic as your mend though!

Yea that’s another method I’ve used but not as fun and not everyone has a sewing machine, so ways to do it by hand is good 👍
